I'm getting a cold or something, sore throat and nasal shit, and my workout sucked yesterday. Is working out while your sick worth it, and would it delay getting better, by making the immune system tired?

Your theory is correct. I am kind of in same same sittuation lattly but not that bad I am able to work through it.
Although If I came through with the flu or something I would stay in the bed.

There arent many choices

I'm also in the same situation. I notice when i workout sick, my body seems to take twice as long to recuperate.i feel really burnt out plus putting up a good sweat then going out in the cold does not help. i say you should rest but if you have to workout listen to your body and cool down after your workout.

I do it......

When I am sick enough to stay home from work by the end of the day I want to rip my hair out from sitting on the couch all day. I just take some tylanol, grab a handfull of caugh drops and off to the gym......
