Hey fellas...I got my upper body waxed about 2 weeks ago for the very first time. I was told that I would get some red bumps around the waxed areas and that they would go away. However, its been about 2 weeks now, and my whole upper body is broken out in red bumps. Has anyone had this happen to them, and if so which prescription cream should i use to clear my skin?

I used to get my chest waxed every month (finally got it lasered) -- the first time I broke out for about a week and a half, but the red spots went away much more quickly afterwards. If it's blotchy, you might have an infection, but I think that's pretty rare.

next time, try a liberal application of 100% aloe vera. The stuff works. I've posted on this subject before. I used to get terrible red bumps from shaving and waxing. Not sure if it will clear up your current condition, but next time, use aloe twice a day for a few days...you'll be amazed.

Thanks for the replies. Ive been using Triamcinolone Cream and Neosporin. They didnt offer much help. I just need to find out what would be the best thing to use for this condition. Ive heard alot of good things about Retin-A cream...Ill have to look into that. Thanks anyways.

Hey bro, can you give me some info on the laser hair removal? I am very interested in it, because I get sooo damn sick of shaving. How much did it cost. Were there any side effects from it? Is it actually permanent?

Dieanabol, you better hope you don't get ingrown hairs all over because I did and it is murder trying to get that shit straightened out. I can't even shave against the grain without getting them.
