There's been alot of posts lately how arimidex will increase the amount of free test in your system and the result will also be more DHT conversion. It has also been said that the introduction of synthetic test initially brings down the amount of DHT in your system, it's when you discontinue the test that the DHT rebounds. Let's say you want to minimize DHT. What would you do as far as an anti-estrogen? Nolvadex when needed? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Can't see why DHT levels would decrease during a cycle, what with all that extra testosterone available for 5-alpha reductase. Now this is obviously only for 5-A reducable steroids, but I think that this is false. DHT levels should rise during the cycle and fall after, as the body is clearing all the extra steroid from the system. As for the need for an anti-estrogen, I am not sure what you are meaning. DHT is not estrogenic, nor does it get converted into estrogen; you would require a 5-AR blocker such as finasteride. ![]() ![]() ![]()

What I'm getting at is arimidex causes an increase in DHT as well as free test. So, what could one do to not only take care of the estrogen, but also minimize DHT? I guess just take finasteride and arimidex/nolvadex. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

As always,Dezl is correct.DHT does not aromitize at ANY dosage,so it,in and of itself,is not a problem where gyno is concerned. In large circulative quantities,it can be rather hard on the hair line and prostate, hence Dezl's reference to finasteride,to keep excess levels from being destructive... ![]() ![]() ![]() |
