I don't care what anyone says... mike tyson is the baddest mofo on the planet... he would kill lewis if they ever fought. Holyfield only beat tyson because he wrapped him up. Lewis would try to out box him which just can't be done. E | ||

There would be two hits in about two seconds. Tyson hits Kovacs, Kovacs hits the floor. Tyson is a professional fighter, Kovacs a pro. bodybuilder. That's the difference. As far as Tyson being "the baddest mofo on the planet", give me a f*cking break. He lost to the fat ass Buster Douglas and an extremely lighter Holyfield. He's not the best boxer, much less "the baddest mofo on the planet". Of course I know some of you will make "all of the excuses in the world" for him on why he lost those fights. The Gracies, who usually weigh under 170 lbs, beat the shit out of of guys sometimes twice their weight and much stronger, they do this all the time! It is simple, a very well trained fighter will beat a non trained individual regardless of the size or strength. The Gracies have had an outstanding offer to fight anyone for years , they even challenged Tyson - he refused cause he knew he would lose. Tyson would destroy Kovacs, any other body builder out there, and any one on this board unless there are some excellent graplers on here. Unless Tyson hit a master Jujitsu guy with his first or second punch(less likely) and took him out it is over for Tyson in under 2 minutes! Down to the the ground and nitey nite. Something for you guys to keep in mind as that test and ego kicks in and you think you are superman, learn to fight or a trained fighter will embarass you. | ||

kovacs might be able to find his teeth and have them surgically put back....on second thought...naaaahhhhhh. Tyson ain't anywhere close to being the baddest man on the planet, but I'm fairly confident all his years of punching, gloved or not, have made his hands pretty fucking hard, and we all know how hard he swings. If I recall the story correctly, Tyson got into it with cormier back when Cormier was a bouncer. He just open hand slapped Cormier on the back of his head and that was enough to make him not want any of Tyson. He said he felt like he got hit in the back of the head by a slapjack. | ||

i agree, boxers are not fighters. they are sportsman. for that matter, most martial artists are all for show too. whenever i've been in fights, the guy would square up with me, but before he could shoot in, i'd just shoot a double leg, turn the corner, throw the legs in, and pound the shit out of him, there's nothing he can do. if you ever watch the ufc's, the wrestlers always win. and i'm including jujitsu as wrestling, because it pretty much is, besides the breaking moves. here's a challenge, put any aggressive NCAA champ wrestler up against the gracees, and teach the champ how to do a few of the breaking moves, and it would be a close fight i'd say. | ||

Don't even talk to me about the gracies... they are bad men but sakaraba has humbled 2 of them. "what if he caught tysons hand?" what the hell kind of boxing do you watch? I am assuming the billy is reffering to tyson in a boxing match(?). Its hard to catch someones hand with boxing gloves on. I'll bet on tyson in any boxing ring but I agree that some pride fight guys could take him though I bet he would do his damage. Tyson is a mean, hard little ball of rage. E | ||

Tyson won his fight before he even got in the ring----Everyone was intimadated by him! When Douglas killed him --he lost that factor and his carrer was over---Not only did Holyfield tie him up, but he hurt him and made him look silly---Lewis would knock him out in 4 rounds---Lewis just makes it look so easy that is why people dont respect him----Tyson has not been hit much in his life and when he was hit, he was beaten! Hes a punk-just ask Chris Cormier what a punk he is. | ||

jarabbit, bump on that, i happen to fight UFC. the guy who trains me trained under Rickson Gracie, and i will tell you that size doesn't mean shit when it comes to fighting. you could be 7'0 350, but when you are choked out after 3 seconds, your hugeness just makes you harder to pick up off the mat. hands down--tyson. kovacs is too big too slow, wouldn't even be a fight. I think most of you would agree that Tyson of 85-87 was the baddest MOFO around. He had his head together as much as he could. Can you name me one boxer who was MORE intimidating than him. The fear in his competition was awesome to watch. I would take Tyson of those years over anyone. I hate to say what if but this guy would have been the best if he didn't go nuts. Just a small point, but since Ali lost some fights as well I guess he's a loser ranked below Tyson since he has a worse record? Name me a heavyweight champ who had never lost a fight....hmm? First of all, about 100% of all fights end up on the ground. The only way Tyson would win was if he hit his first shot square in the chin with an upper cut before Kovacs took him to the ground and ripped his head off.

Has anyone watched a Toughman fight??? Believe me, size means nothing when it comes to boxing, if it did, Lennox Lewis at around 240 wouldn't be one of if not the biggest heavyweight champs ever. Size matters when 2 bums fight (ie Butterbean vs. bum of the month). In terms of UFC, there's always some 350 lb. monster or Samoan who get taken off in a stretcher or loses to a skilled grappler. Also, who would you rather meet in a streetfight, someone that's gonna burst your orbital socket, add enamel to your diet, and then bite exposed appendages, or someone who is going to put you in a bear hug...? Say what you want about Tyson, with his body structure & strength, he wouldn't be easy to get a grip on and if he connects.......CHICKLETS!!!!!! Shamrock, Gracie, Aqua-man, anyone. | ||

Exactly thinkbig! You fighting in pay per view stuff or just local events? You guys, not all, don't understand how it works. These guys come in at very opportune times protecting themselves quite well, they then clinch and take down the vitim and then kicking and punching is pretty much irrelevant. skaraba is the baddest of the land now and I would put Shamrock up there as well, just watched him fight and win in Ultimate Brazil, He is awesome! Bring a boxer to a Gracie academy and watch in amazement as the supposed bad man gets embarrased. Seen many black belts get whipped in under 2 minutes time and time again by guys that aren't even pros. Hell I've only been doing it for 4 months but the level that you increase at is very fast if you stick to it and go consistently. Tyson hits you , yes, it's over but if he misses then it most likely is also over. Jujitsu is the scariest of the martial arts. | ||

Yes redneck if you are big and strong you will take me (now) and many others my size (5'11 190) but you will not take my teacher or the shamrocks or any Gracie followers with skill! They will if they want literally kill you with a submission move as you do have blood that runs to your head like the rest of us and they will cut that off and that means death within 1 minute. If your lucky they will just break your arm in 3 places. And you will not grab my teachers kick with your hands it has been clocked at 60 mph and will knock you out, even if you did it is to the ground time and you will lose there to just as quick. Yes, most martial artists are overrated with there registered feet and crap like that but some can/will and do back it up! Wake up big guy. | ||
