i did know paul and find that most people that comment on him have a mixed impression of what he was like , first of all he was a great speaker that could easily influence a lot of people that thirst for knowledge unfortunatly he lied a lot and had no qualifications or personal experience of competition and little training ability (he trained here once and i had to spot for him though i would not have wanted to trust him spotting for me)most of his ideas came from old arthur jones books or dan duchane mix it all together with hitlers ability to captivate a crowd and add a few boily, spotty backed disiples to do his dirty work and that was paul ! pity bout the kids but how many others are now saved from his deranged ideas and crap supplements. shame he was a fraud he could have been good for the sport if only he had not lied, stole and gotten others addicted to nubain and coke to pay for his own habbit. by the way i am not a novice amature bodybuilder but a power lifting champion both masters and overall bench press champion as well as being a highly qualified coach / nutritionist [This message has been edited by B A (edited February 04, 2001).]     | ||

I feel bad for the kids like you said, but this guy was a lying, drug addicted con artist that took alot of people's money and didn't keep his end of many agreements. I can't believe someone of his character became so well known, for what i still haven't figured out. Nothing more than a name I suppose. His ideas were idiotic. |
