yea he does but i think its more of a crash type thing he knows he wont hold all of his gains and gets depressed. dosent want to go back and not be able to lift where he left off. the funny thing is that no matter what kind of cycle it is he gets this way.

tell him to get a prozac prescription. it wont do anything for his post cycle sex drive, but it will tide him over until he gets his natural test levels back.

this is what i do. after a cycle, i completely change my workout routine around. i mean the exercises, sets, and even tempo. there is no way i know what i should be lifting cuz all the exercises are different and the loads will be too. try it, it works. and its a great way to shock your body. after a bulk cycle, i will either start higher rep training, with minimal rest betweek sets. i will do this for 2 weeks, the start powerlifting, doing only squats, deads and cleans, 3 days a week

bb79..you might want to tell him to try the herb St. Johns Wort. It works very well and doesn't cost so much. X-man..are you taking the prozac at time everyday? That is very important and is the only way that it will help you.

Yes I got yer email bro and thankyou..pretty screwed up huh...X-man just give it time ..you will see the difference . One day it will just hit you and you will realize that you won't need it anymore and breakaway<--sounds stupid but you have to experience it to understand what I mean.It is just a relief, just saying to yourself that you don't need to take the drug anymore and you can be in a good mood all on your own with out the drug.
Crash too much of a good thing is bad..you might want to ask your brother how much he is taking. Some people start feeling really good and start getting their selves back to "normal" and they figure the more they take ..the better they will feel.-not true

just relax and let the drug work. sometimes the seratonin in our brain isn't traveling right and just needs attention and correction. Don't look at it as a weakness of mind, it's biological not psychological. Would you take allergy medicine for allergy. It also corrects a biological problem. I'm just trying to tell you it's nothing to be ashamed of. The drug will work, it's impossible that it doesn't. good luck. 1 out of 4 people get depressed at one time in there life, now we have medication to alleviate this period.

X-man, not all antidepressants work for everyone. In fact most people feel worse from the SSRI's (prozac, luvox, zoloft and serzone). If one SSRI doesn't work for you, then chances are the rest of them won't work for you either. So you need to try a different kind of antidepressant, such as Wellbutrin, Effexor or even Remeron. I would recommend Wellbutrin, it seems to work where SSRI's fail in most people, or even Remeron, it puts you to sleep right after you take it, so you just take one dose at night. I'd only try Effexor if the other two don't work, it tends to cause anxiety in people who are initially anxious. Also, barbell...talk to a doctor about what you're experiencing with the depression, it's not uncommon and one of these meds probably could do you some good.

Serzone is not an ssri anti-depressant,its in the same family drug as trazadone.
Not a big deal, but if ssri's dont work,
serzone is a great alternative, with anxiety calming properties to boot.

My bad, Nugent's right. Now that I think about it Serzone is the brand name for nefazodone, right. I actually meant Celexa. That's the other SSRI I was thinking of.
