I hate not knowing what someone is talking about. Here's what I found for anyone else that didn't know: EPOGEN� (Epoetin alfa) is a recombinant version of a human protein that stimulates the production of red blood cells and is used in the treatment of anemia associated with chronic renal failure for patients on dialysis. ------------------  | ||

EPO is great for stamina. Why would a BBer use this though? Other than maybe raising blood volume to look vascular? | ||

I heard you can also use it to pass drug tests due to increased blood volume and thus lower concentrations of roids. Sounds like a strain on the old ticker to me. giantset | ||

Are you sure its not controlled? It has been banned by many sports. It is usually not of interest to the bodybuilder but more by athletes in endurance sports and events such as long-distance running and cycling. ------------------ |
