Muscle Mag International wrote that synthol or pump n pose is now banned by the IFBB. Milos Sarcev apparently almost killed himself with it. Does anyone know more about this? [This message has been edited by xrciseink (edited February 02, 2001).]    | ||

I think a lot of synthol users look silly, but how would they ever test for it? Unfortunately, I doubt this ban will actually effect synthol usage. | ||

Milos had a write up in Flex a month or two ago. It did almost kill him. He is ok now. He injected it in a vein in his tricep. | ||

i'm glad. some people support synthol but give me a break, it's as ridiculous as having a pec implant, or a calf implant. fake is fake. i think bodybuilding should be about building the body, not putting in foreign objects. [This message has been edited by d1734 (edited February 02, 2001).] | ||

Don't think it will make any difference. Don't the IFBB 'officially' ban all AAS as well? Remember the year when they actually drug tested the Olympia (was it '89?). They all looked sh*t. | ||

I hope Flex Wheeler gets busted. Then he'll either retire or be forced to compete without it. He looks alot better without it. | ||

Ghost, watch what you say man - he works out/owns the gym I go to, he is not a dumb ass for sure - I don't agree with synthol usage either - but they gotta do what they gotta do. Shes there like 24/7 with her sister - they are both very nice people. I wondered why Shawn Ray hung out with Milos and his wife at the Arnold last year. They seemed close, now I know why. I envy you! |
