I am getting a lot of various input from people in deciding upon my first cycle. I can design the details (of course I will ask for review of that later), but I just do not know how basic or severe I need to make the cycle based on where I am and where I want to go. Here are the stats and goals: Stats: 37 years old, 190 lbs, 9-10% BF, lifting steadily for years now. Never did real gear before, have done a bit of Clen and Eph (have some of each) and did some pro-hormones. (Don't ask - LOL). Currently very "solid" look, but not a lot of definition (solid arms for example, but like "smooth" unless pumped in the gym). Have been on Creatine for a while. What can I get easily: I have not bought any yet. I should (should) be able to get DECA, some Test of some type(s) D-Bol, Cypionate, Sustanon. Clomid, also Clen, HCG if I want it. I have some Clen and Eph as well. If I can work within this list - cool. Its fairly easy to get. If I had a compelling reason to get something else, I would. What do I want? (Goals) If ended up with about 15 lbs. of REAL weight put on, and was able to keep it, and dropped BF a bit, I would be very pleased. That would get me a bit more defined and semi-ripped. Not sure if both are possible, I may have to gain then cut. This is my first cycle. That may work in my favor. Concerns: I do NOT want a limp dick at ALL (juggling 3 regular and 3 alternate chicks right now, so limpage is not gonna work). I would rather not bloat up while on it (although some mild amount is expected). I had a mild (very) case of itchy tits while on the pro-H's, so I want to watch out for that. And, I have a slight tendency towards acne, and being ripped is no good if I would break out like a Pizza (but its not bad at all now). So I want like a very low chance of acne issues. Cycle Design? OK - HERE IS THE QUESTION. Considering all of this, I have gotten recommendations all over the place. From ... 1) Easy To ... 2) Moderate To ... 3) Balls Out How far do I need to go? I do NOT need to pack on 30 lbs of mass �� 15 or maybe 20 would be fine for me. I can design dosages and all, and do the details (and of course gets some reviews before committing), but I just do not know how far to take this. Any ideas? ------------------ | ||

Riker -- It sounds like you've looked into your options and done some research...good 4 you! I can tell you what I experienced on my first cycle, and maybe that'll help you. My first cycle was 10 weeks of Omnadren (same as sus) at 500mg/week. I expected it to be some sort of panacea and therefore didn't train as hard as I should have. I put on quite a bit of water weight and fat...and I only netted 12 lbs. by the time the cycle was done. My strength went way beyond anything I'd ever experienced, though, and I had a great sense of well-being throughout the cycle. I think if I trained harder I could've put on 20+ lbs. (although I am very light-boned). Some things I've learned since then: 1) You can make awesome gains on the non-androgens. Primo, winny, Deca and Anavar all get you great strength gains and muscle hardness...plus they won't make you "puffy." 2) Test makes you feel awesome and the strength gains were very cool. If you're like me, you will put on water and fat, though unless you eat clean. You'll put on the mass with test!!! 3) Don't go overboard on dosages for your first cycle. Some may disagree, but I think it's important to establish how your body respons to AS (as well as noting what side-effects you experience). 4) Make sure you have nolva/proviron or arimidex on hand if you do take test. I had some puffiness and itching in my nipples during my cycle so I hit the Nolva hard to be on the safe side. You DO NOT want bitch-tits! So, these are a few things to keep in mind. If you don't mind getting some water retention, go ahead and do an 8-10 week cycle of sustanon at 500mg/week. If you eat clean, you won't maximize gains, but you may avoid some of that water. If you want to tighten up, go with something like winny, Equipoise, or primo (preferably a couple of those choices in a stack). Try 300-400mg of Eq or Primo a week for 10 weeks and maybe throw in some winny for the last 6 weeks of the cycle at 50mg/day. This will probably give you the net weight gains you're looking for while minimizing water retention. Your strength gains will also skyrocket on a cycle like this. As you already know, it comes down to a choice: more mass, but more water weight and possible side-effects (test), or less gains, but a tighter look with almost no risk or side-effects to worry about (primo, winny, or EQ). Figure out what your priorities are and then choose accordingly. Just remember, train regularly and eat right, or you'll be disappointed with your gains... | ||

You'll get tons of opinions as everyone has their own style if you will. There is nothing set in stone. You just have to make an educated decision and go for it and see how you respond. week---sust---dbol---clomid It's going to cause bloat but that is just something that comes with the game. Some bloat very badly, some don't really bloat. My face doesn't bloat, my body does. Acne and gyno are genetics as is the bloat. Have nolvadex and take if needed for gyno. Sust is very safe and sides at 500 are quite minimal. Dbol will get the ball rolling as it can be discouraging waiting to feel the test do its thing. This will put good quality size on providing diet and training are right. If you do all things right you will end up with perhaps a bit more than 15 pounds. The biggest mistake you can make in my opinion is trying to get that ripped look while trying to add mass. If you do this neither will happen as you need to fully dedicate yourself to one goal or the other to be successfull at it. 15 solid pounds is a good bit so you will need to bulk up. This means an excess of calories which means you won't get any leaner. You may however notice more definition as muscle mass increases. You're alreadyt fairly lean so I would concentrate on bulking. Add mass now and then concentrate on cutting up to show it off. Gain then cut. That's my suggestion. ------------------ | ||

Riker, I'm also 37, 232, no, wait- 233, no, no- 234,no, wait..... (boy I love juice!) Anyway, I'm on my first time around and am having great results w/ 750 Aratest a week. I kick started with Dbol for the first 4 weeks and have nothing but good things to say about going with a basic, test only cycle. Your first concern is w/ going limp. Ain't gonna happen on test baby! My wife is starting to hide from me any more. I have to blow a load about every 12 hours. My skin has actually gotten better, and water retention just hasn't been an issue. I'm up 14 Lbs at week 5 of 9, bf% is about the same. | ||

First of all, in reference to availability, keep in mind that you can get a wide range of gear by running over to TJ since your in SD(like me). Secondly, I know it varies person to person, but I started a Deca/Sust cycle a couple months ago, but had to drop the deca because of severe deca dick. Might not happen to you, but it happened to me, and boy did it fucking suck. I'll never touch deca again. |
