Hay I have been doing trial and error training with my workout partner last month... this is what we have concluded.. for last 2 weeks we were doing this: Day 1 (Chest/delts) I have found this very effective workout for all my muscles except shoulders. After doing chest my shoulders are allready blown out so i have no strength to do shoulders in which i was very prone to injury today so good thing i stopped!!! the thing is I love to workout out 4 days on, 1 day off because it allows me to hit every muscle twice a week (same thing as every 5 days). Only problem is though, my weakness is my arms so i like to do them full blast in which why i didn't go chest/tris, back/bis. If anyone works out similar to me please give me your full advice in which i could hit every bodypart twice a week where it should work most effectively thanks guys your the best!!!! I used to work 4 days a week each muscle twice a week. I don't juice though, so what I learned from it is that you get good cardio and better muscle tone, but you really don't gain shit for strength. I'm not quite sure how juice works but what I did was.... monday - chest, tris, shoulders, forearms tuesday - legs, back, and biceps wednesday off thursday - same as monday but lighter workout friday - same as tuesday but lighter workout If you're going for muscle tone and definition this works fine but if you wanna gain strength check out the powerlifting board and check out the top post about getting big is easy. ------------------

When I make a split, I usually ask myself "which lifts do I want to do?", then work it around them. For example, if I'm going to do deadlifts, then I'll have a day for back/traps/hamstrings. DAY
