Wondering if any "safe-to-consume-and-legal" liquids have the ability to break down Finaplix?

The most susceptible part of the molecule to breakdown (in the absence of enzymes) would be the ester. Certain soft drinks have a very low pH which might accelerate hydrolysis but Fina will not dissolve in such water-based vehicles so there would not be that much surface area of Fina exposed for hydrolysis. Soooooooo, I think its safe to say that NO... there are probably not any safe to consume liquids that will cause degradation of Fina. I hope this helps. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
