I know all the myths about lower vs. higher reps, but from personal experiences, to get denser, harder, more lean muscle, should I go for more reps at a slower more controlled movement? Input would be appreciated.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I was talking with one of my buddies about this and he says you should mix it up. For 2 weeks just lift light weight but very controlled and slow. This has it's advantages because you are not prone to getting injured and you will be very sore after this type of work out. The next 2 weeks lift heavy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

So I should go back and forth, like every two weeks? Also, would drop sets be good for this too? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I have tried the high and low theory and I lost ground with it ove time. I wouldn't do it again. Yes, drop sets are great. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I agree. Keep the weights heavy and use drop sets. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
