hmmm...I havent heard this one, but it's definately worth researching. What pharmacology book did you get this info from? Could it be that the 80% of gh users that became diabetic were also taking huge amounts of slin? I don't know too much about hgh, but I do know that it works best when taken in conjunction with insulin/large amounts of test. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The book was clear 80%, but practicaly, I dont think it is correct. Maybe thats the reason you HAVE to use it with insulin.. Anyone that used GH have anything more? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

hey bro its a university book. toxicology, by ioannis niopas, Ph.D. I am thinking that someone might use insulin in a GH cycle just to get rid of this side effect of GH ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm a diabetic who has never used GH. However, in conversations regarding the use of GH, he said that GH can make you insulin resistant. That being said, I can see how long term use of GH could make somebody diabetic due to the insulin resistance. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

In other words the insulin becomes less effective , so there is a need for exogenous insulin?? [This message has been edited by skg (edited February 01, 2001).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

skg, Maybe 80% in whatever country ioannis niopas, Ph.D. is from gets diabetes from GH but not in this country. The FDA would yank it's approval in a heartbeat. That is absolutely not true here. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

would you believe that it is safer to use insulin in a GH cycle? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes, that is my understanding. You may run the risk of becoming resistant to your endogenous insulin there by making the use of exogenous insulin necessary. Keep in mind however, I'm only speaking of the risks involved. I'm not agreeing with or disagreeing with the 80% statement. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

80% seems rather high... keep in mind though that approximately 10% of Americans over 65 have adult onset diabetes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm positive it's not true, bro. They're prescribing it left and right for anti-aging purposes over here, obviously to middle aged people who are at a higher risk for diabetes to begin with. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

PerfectRep you're thinking is exactly the same as mine. How could a physician tell a patient.."well we are planning on giving you GH for life extension, however you stand an 80% chance of developing a life threatening disease." WTF ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
