Okay, I know this is just a discussion about AS and no one on here would ever be stupid enough to use it or try smuggling it due to law infractions but... Let's pretend I had a friend and he was thinking about buying some gear and was nervous about getting caught. If his purpose was only to buy for himself so he had only a very minimal amount on him, what are the possible, typical consequences for his actions if he was caught? Just a specualtion.     | ||

Some cases they just take the gear, most cases with amounts for personal use result in seizure and a fine, usually nothing goes on your record. | ||

I've heard people getting more than just a fine the first time. I've heard people actually going to jail for a couple of days, and it going on their records. It's illegal to possess them. It would be like packing morphine around. | ||

You have to be stupid to get caught on average 30,000 people cross that spot daily on average 30 get caught. Everyone knows so much drugs cross that boarder daily it's insane. I had a friend told that you can take a 90 day supply back legally long time ago he took it to the boarder and asked them straight up all they did was say "take that back from where you got it, he turned around stuffed the shit and walked across with it". I wished I lived so cal because so I've heard it's really easy to get stuff across. | ||

I smuggled a few bottles of juice across the boarder about a month ago. I was wearing cargo pants and I DIDN'T HAVE a backpack. No prob. Just cross at late at night and you'll be the average guy who went to party on the strip in TJ. | ||

I understand newschooler's point of view, but I want to make clear that nothing is 100% safe. If you buy int'l over the internet, customs might still snag it, in which case your gear is siezed, but no criminal action. If you buy domestic, chances are slimmer that you'll get caught, but if you do, the penalties are very severe. Statistically, I'm not sure that internet purchases are really that much safer than carrying a personal amount across the border. Whatever you do, nothing is absolutely risk free. | ||

A co-worker got caught with some sostenon preloads and a few amps of some other shit and he fined $500 with no criminal record. They did make him sweat it out however. ------------------ |
