i have a friend that says its great to have a heavy week then every third week throw in a week with lighter weight more reps. Anyone do this and is it worth it? i am trying to put on a lot of weight and wondering if it would do anything for me? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Powerlifters do that. It's "weights cycling during workouts cycle". I've used that principle either... I like the results... The key-point is: low volume, big weights develop fast muscle cells and high volume, medium weights develop slow fibers... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
