Hey...some of you may have read my post "whats wrong with my ass" well I got it checked by a doc and he said that I had a blood clot. he said it would go away in about a month. Now my main question is..is it alright to train with a blood clot in my ass? specificaly deadlifts and squats/other leg movements... aside from the intense pain will anything bad happen? second question: is there anything I can do to speed up recovery? should I try and get a script for something that breaks down clots? Thanks champion

Give your body a rest for the 4wks your doc said for the problem to clear up. ------------------

I had a intramuscular hematoma in my calf after a street football game. A pretty big clot. My doc sent me to the hospitol to get an ultra sound(duplex Ext Viens Unilat) done to make sure the clot was not in a major attery.Weel they found nothing in a vien and my doc said it would be alright.I worked through the pain. Did quads and calfs the week after.

do you think that working through it helped your speed up recovery time? I'm asuming the doc gave you an estimate of how long it would take.

I would say it made a small difference but obviuosly i wouldn't know cuase i did try to work through it. To give you an idea how big it was... it happend almost 2 months ago and i can still feel a tiny lump imagine if i completely avoided that calf
