Lets pretend someone has some test. propianate powder, and sterile oil. Will the prop. powder dissolve into the sterile oil, or do you need to buy an infamous kit? I would think that the powder would dissolve into the sterile oil, but I don't know. PLEASE, don't give me your opinions, just facts. Thanks guys.     | ||

I though that test. was soluble in oil. Is there a reason that a kit should be bought? Why wouldn't the powder dissolve into the oil? | ||

I believe that the kit contains an alcohol (probably benzyl) that increases the solubility of the prop in oil (in addition to helping with sterility). | ||

I cant say that the prop will dislove in plain oil or not. I would bet that you need a kit. And I would NOT recommend the kit from pumpnpose.com. DO a search on powder prop and you should find my post on the problems I had. | ||
