I think you're going to need to suppl a little more info to get any real help. The short answer is yes, carbs are muscle sparing and if you cut carbs too drastically, you will lose muscle. But carbs are just one part of the whole equation. You need to be getting enought protein and you need to keep you total caloric intake high enough to maintain muscle mass, too. Personally, rather than cutting calories, I recommend increasing cardio if you're not losing fat. Also, don't expect to drop 10 lbs overnight. If you dont get enough carbs, your body will use protien and feed off of its self to get your needed energy. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
