First off I bought a bottle of Humulin R about 2 months ago and have kept it at room temp. the whole time, is it still good?? I am going to take 10 ius in the mornings w./ 100g of carbs from a cell tech drink and then 100 g of carbs from juice/food 2 hrs later. Then around 7:00 I will take 10 iu's with 100 g of carbs from food/juice and lift from 8-9:30 and get 100 g of carbs from cell tech drink at 9:30 post workout. My real question has to do with taking slin before I lift, is this ok?? I can't take it afterwards because I have to lift fairly late in the evenings and can't stay up the extra hours to get the carbs. Thanks for any help!!     | ||

#1 the insulin is more than likely bad. If you live in michigan as I do it is available without a script and is worth the 25 bucks to be sure its good...start off by using 5 ius and slowly build up from there. more importantly use some slower releasing carbs in there with the sugar your using..search google for "glycmic index" you'll find the info you need. Insulin is extremely dangerous in comparison to steroids so learn as much as you can..and remember, drugs become dangerous only when drugs are in the hands of idiots good luck bro les | ||

I agree with Les. Simple carbs and complex carbs all at once. Read my post meal workout post to see what I take. Oh and Les,,,I store at room temp also. Did you say that it is now ruined or is it still good? | ||

Your insulin is no good. One month is the most it can be stored at room temperature. | ||

Don't use it!!! They are kept cold in the pharmacy for a reason!! Put it in the fridge!! J | ||

I don't keep my slin in the fridge. I don't go over 4-6 weeks on it anyways though. Anybody know what happens to it if it sits out for a couple months. Does it just lose the potency or does it become dangerous (unsterile etc.) |
