My personal favorite since I take insulin for size;
1-can of slimfast (chocolate)
2-scoops of energetix protein
2-3-cups of cinnamon toast crunch
8oz.-of 2% milk
2-servings cytovol
20-grams of glutamine
all in a big shaker bottle because a bowl won't work. What's your favorite?

Directly after a workout try and get some protein powder inside ya. All the chicken nuggets and stuff is good but it takes a lot longer to digest and get to your muscles when they need it the most. After my shake (70 grams of protein) I wait for 1/2 an hour then hit the nuggets, steak or whatever is laying around.

I take a recovery drink with 100 grams of glucose and 45 grams of whey protein within ten minutes of my last workout activity. 45 minutes after that I have a chicken breast or fish and a green veggie like broccoli (about 1 cup). I've been eating clean though, cuz I'm trying to shed fat.

are you sure,,,,I was tested by my doc and he couldn't find any in my system....maybe cause it was propionate and it had been about 4 days from last injection....would this be the reason? thanx....learn something new everyday here

youngsust: that's a pretty cool mixture i think i'm gonna try that sometime. here was mine today:

1 package sugar free white chocolate pudding
1 tbsp dextrose
1/2 banana
1 1/2 scoops whey isolate
5g glut peptides
3g taurine

next time i'll add some fruity pebbles or some shit like that.

20 minutes or so afterwards I drink 1-2 glasses of whey protein and 1 glass of very sugary cool-aid. Post workout simple carbs will help give an insulin spike as well as transport the amino acids from the whey directly into your muscles for recovery. Maybe an hour later I eat 1-1/2 to 2 cups of cottage cheese with peach slices(low syrup kind) and then maybe an hour or two later a tuna sandwich and another glass of whey.

Im with Mustang. I slam down a Nlarge-2 shake that equals around 60-70g protein, and around 90-100 carbs, if you count the milk. Add about 5-10 grams Glutamine, & a litte Taurine and im set to go. Oh yeah, throw a few more aminos in with some Mega Men multi's and now your talkin'.

i bring my isopure to the gym 15 mins after i am done i mix it up and take it. it then takes me about 15 min to get home from the gym when i cook 6 chicken breast. it seems to be working well

Right after my workout I take 2 cups of a sugary carb a bagel and 40g of protein powder. the high glycemic carbs to bring up your glycogen stores then about 1 1/2hr later a meal with higher protein and a lower glycemic carb for longer lasting energy.

I use the slimfast for easy carbs and sugars. Also the insulin forces all the nutrients into my muscle cells. I also take amino's, vit.-c, e, flax oil, chromium, and a multi vitamin. The slimfast also adds a more chocolate taste.

For easy carbs and sugars you could get a large bucket of maltodextrin or dextrose. It would be cheaper in the long run. The one and only time I've tried slimfast it gave me alot of gas...

I have a post workout formula shake from protein factory with a banana and added whey. Then within an hour of that I eat some chicken and rice..maybe sausage and eggs or something.

immediately following a workout i eat 2 bananas, drink a protein drink...pro-source, it tastes like chocolate pudding, like before you put it in the fridge to get cool...this of course if you mix the protein mix with milk..
