This happens to me almost every night. I wake up at 4 to pee and then I can't fall back to sleep and I'm exhausted the next day. A friend said I should stop drinking water after 8pm, but going 10-12 hrs w/o water doesn't sound good to me. Am I the only one with this problem? Anyone have any suggestions?

Bro,
I used to have the same problem. Actually, I've been able to fall back asleep if I wake up now since I started taking ZMA every night before bed. I don't know if this is truly a side-effect of the ZMA, but I swear it has made me sleep better. If you're already taking it, I don't know what to tell you. If not, you may want to give it a go.

ZMA is one of the most rediculos(sorry for spelling,english second language) rip offs supplement companies could come up with.And the most amazing thing is,it works!Not ZMA,the ripping off!
It's a zink and magnesium.Just take multi-vitamins and minerals and don't pay for "study shows that after using ZMA athletes serum testosteron level increase up to 87%",don't be a fool.It's enough that goverment robs you.
Back to your question: have you tried melatonin? I actually can't waik up,when on it,and don't even remember when I go to piss,thank god,I don't piss in the bed yet,haahaaa..

Turkey has melatonin in it. Eat a few slices of turkey about 30 mins before bedtime, with a glass of milk, and you'll be out like a light. Carbs are also great for slowing you down, but unless you want chubby cheeks, don't eat carbs then go to sleep. LOL. Hope this helps.

Thanks, lads. I have been considering melatonin, but I'm a little anxious about using it on a regular basis. I've heard that it affects the thyroid and I don't know the effects of long-term use. How often do you recommend I use it and in what dose?
