blood test was done 1 week after last injection of primo(12 week sus-primo cycle, last inj sus week 8, last inj primo week 12)Everithing was ok besides: Cholesterol: 237 LDL:181 HDL:36 before juicing it was; Will everything go back to normal values? How much will it take?thanks for the info | ||

Please tell me that you didn't eat a lot of junk and fast food when you were on your cycle. Using gear raises your cholesterol anyway so you are hurting yourself when you don't eat clean. You will probably go back to normal but you will need to watch your diet and start doing some cardio. Also eat more Omega-5 fatty acids. | ||

Taking niacin in higher dosages will help lower it also. they make non-flushing niacin so you don't feel like you're face is burning up. | ||

hey 2thick i did eat junk food and gallon of whole milk a day. That was very stupid i know. Do you think my current situation is really bad?i'll never make this mistake again, but will i be able to lower the LDL, i've heard that once you have it high you can only avoid to increase it but can't lower it. is it bullshit or not? | ||

Actually, 237 is not that bad. Your HDL is above 35 so that's a good sign. As long as you're not making a daily run for the golden arches, you'll be fine. ------------------ | ||

If you are in good shape and under 45 years old, you can lower it. They only say that for the average person. Keep at the Omega-5 fatty acids, some cardio and a few other suggestions that you can find on the internet. Also raising your HDL can sometimes lower your LDL. hmmm- I always try to eat clean also. Ya just feel better all the way around. If I need more cals, I just hit a couple xtra weight gain shakes. No junk food! | ||

If you can get your total below 200, you'll be fine. For the the omegas...start eating cold water fish. I'd get some supplements with omega 3&6 though, no one can eat that much fish ------------------ | ||

Thanks plifter, but i was talking about lowering LDL. I have 2 questions: considering my situation, can i use clen safely? Can i go on a keto diet where all the fats come from olives and flax seed oil?Or maybe the keto diet won't allow to lower my values, no matter the kind of fats?I was planning to start another cycle in mid april, is that enough time to normalize my lipidic values? If you have no pre-existing heart problems, you should have no problem with clen. Start taking 2,500mg of niacin per day to get that LDL down, I've seen it lower someone's levels by over 30%. Also if you start taking omega 3,6 supplements, add garlic to the mix, they work well when taken together. ------------------ | ||

You have about 2.5 months correct? The niacin alone could get your total chol below 200 in that time period. If you lay off the junk food of course ------------------ | ||

If all you were using was Primo and Sust, then you could have used niacin during your cycle to help maintain lipid values. I would not use it with orals, since high dose niacin can damage the liver. An interesting note, new research is showing that lower dose niacin (1000-2000mg/day) with a statin (lovastatin, simvastatin, etc.) can reduce cardiovascular risks drastically. I would take 1,000-1,500mg of niacin daily along with 1,500-2,000mg Red Yeast Extract, which naturally contains lovastatin. Lovastatin has actually been shown to improve liver function in damaged livers. Start the niacin slow, if it is not time release, unless you like to feel like you have hives. Time release makes niacin much more bearable. Other cholesterol modifying supplements are garlic extract, gugul, turmeric, and artichoke extract. | ||
