Ok, maybe this shouldnt be on the anabolic board, but i started a cycle 3 weeks ago, and 2 days ago, i got braces. My mouth is in a ton of pain. I can barely eat right now, and now is when my sus should be kicking in, anyone have braces? Does it stop hurting or what? Plus they have cut up the insides of my lips alot also now, so i got my mouth full of wax and is a huge pain in the ass to take out every 2 hours to eat and what not. Anyone here have any advice for a bro in pain? thanx...     | ||

i feel your pain. i got my braces off just a couple months ago. it gets alot better after about 2 weeks so don't worry. each time you get them re-adjusted expect pain for a couple days, sometimes it can be pretty bad too. i seriously was about to cry the first time i put my retainer on. damn that fucker was painful. | ||

The pain will go away after a few days so you should be fine in a day or two. Heh I still have scars on the inside of my mouth from my braces. Just eat soft stuff for a few days. | ||

Do NOT use Vicodin for orthodontic discomfort. Go out and get some Naproxen over the counter. Ask your pharmacist. Take it as directed. The pain means your teeth are shifting, which is what you want. It subsides after the teeth are shifted and bone starts to grow back. Expect it to happen a day or two after each adjustment. |
