I am just looking into testing out some different concepts.

How many of you are on a see food diet when bulking? In that I mean how many of you just eat absolutely anything you come accross.

I know some people who do this and they are pretty damn big as well as manage to stay lean (probably dnp and/or T3).

Anyway any replies appreciated.

looks like everyones in bed at the moment!!

i think it is importatnt to eat as much as you can when bulking. it is very difficult to get the desired amount of calories needed to add new muscle whilst eating clean. chicken and pasta, whilst being very nutritious and low in fat, just does not have enough calories to fuel new growth.That is unless you are eating it by the bucketful but in reality we all know that it gets very boring and tasteless after a while. i make sure that i get enough protein and total calories and don;t worry about the fat.

Dnp is great,
ofcourse when you are bulking you get some low precange of fat(depand on your diet)but after it the Dnp proves his reputation.

For the most part I am able to get the majority of my calories from good sources. My main problem is the actual cost of good quality meat (I eat about 8 chicken breasts a day!)....

To this end I do allow myself some junk food (mainly kebabs, Burger King... the odd beer!).

My attitude is I don't mind getting a bit of extra fat if it means extra muscle... I can soon burn it of on a cutting cycle.

dont need it bro..what I do get is a destended gut of abs..concentrate on one thing or the other..want mass, think mass..some things when using have to be well thought out, scientific even..this does not..I eat a good 7000 calories when Im on..thanks to .99$ doublecheeseburgers at mcdonalds whichh I buy like at 6 at a time every 2 hrs, downing protein shakes, buffets, its all good

Eating clean while bulking ,was the biggest mistake I have ever made,well that and low doses.


I eat whole eggs now and whole milk I have been known to eat a box of cupcakes before bed.(1200cal.)

And you know what?I am growing easier than ever in my life.And I am still under 10% while bulking.

Eating clean while bulking is a waste of time for ectomorphs (the hardgainers) Put that fat in your diet!You need it!

The only reason I'm juicing cuz it gives me excuse to eat all the junk I like,hehe...
Seriously,when bulking I eat everything that taste good,because that's the only way for me to eat that much.I get a little fat,but really a little,a little more cardio postcycle and Ephedrine get rid of it in no time.

I have to eat semi-clean while bulking. When I start to eat everything in site, I put on too much fat for my liking.

I am currently doing this. Unfortunately it's flu season and I haven't put on all that much since the Christmas pig-out. I started at 210lbs and I'm at 225lbs.

I eat clean year round and stick to a planned out diet while bulking. I have no problems getting 6000 clean calories...It really isn't hard. I eat the same thing every day to ensure my body is fully nourished at all times. Eating clean and bulking can be done and from my experience should be done. People use bulking as an excuse to get lazy I think and they end up putting on too much fat. I doesn't have to be that way. I respond better to clean foods...That's my experience. The only "meat like" food I eat is fish and I still grow like a weed. If I ate anything and everything I would rouine my body so I choose to keep it strict and clean year round.

I say of course eat red meat,whole eggs &
stuff like that but don't get too out of hand.Always keep the MRP's on hand for when
your not feeling hungry.When bulking you shouold be taking in some food or MRPs atleast every 2-3 hours.Keep it persistant &
you will grow.

Beezers -

My training partner has been vegetarian for 2 years (well until last night when we went out for sushi... hehe...) Anyway, he is starting to introduce fish to his diet, but is still having a hard time getting enough clean calories / protien without other meat. What have you found works well for you in terms of diet while bulking? My chicken breast guzzling ass only has so many suggestions for him...

I eat everything. I try to keep my carbs really high. I try to eat at least 4 clean carb meals. I eat a lot of hamburger...but try to eat 400-500 grams of clean carbs comming from the kitchen (not fast food). I also like to throw lots of pizza and cheese burgers in there too.

When you blend your Myoplex throw in a couple large eggs. 2x per day will give you 1000 clean calories and awesome protein.

the staples of my diet are meat, potatoes, whole milk, and protien powder. i eat lots of other stuff (like pork, rice, chicken, pasta.) Milk is great though. 8 grams of protien per cup. There are sixteen cups in a gallon, and a do a gallon a day. that shit will put the weight on!

Twiggy, Is he a lacto-ova vegatarian? What will he eat? That really is the biggest factor. I'm not vegatarian but I simply don't eat meat in my diet...I see no real need for it. Egg whites and whey are the best protein sources availible. The are the most efficient proteins. The only draw back with whey is that it digests so quickly but that is easily combatted if you consume it with carbohydrate or fat or preferably a mixture of all three macro-nutrients. If consumed in this manner whey is the second best protein source next to eggs. Beef and pork products are actually quite low on the list. I get my protein from eggs, whey, fish, and dairy. Will he eat any of these? I'm not sure what vegatarians can eat but if he has a lacto-ove vegatarian diet then he really needs no more protein sources as he will have the best ones in his arsenal(eggs, whey, and casein).

For an ectomorph and a hard gainer you need fat in your diet,.It is silly to concentrate on getting 500-600gms of carbs in ED and only 30gms or so of fat.

Don't be mistaken on this adding fat to your diet is NOT a lazy practice but an intelligent one.

EAT fat and grow!
