I read that an egg has about 7gm of protien. The yolk has about 4 and the white has about 3. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The protein is in the egg white, so as long as u get all the white out, you really shouldn't lose a measureable amount of protein. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

2.8g of protein in the yolk and you will lose all 213mgs of cholesterol. Hope this answers your question. That is for a large egg. [This message has been edited by jbone (edited January 27, 2001).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

What do you mean you still don't know? Re-read my response. I gave you both. So if a whole egg has 7 grams of protein and just the egg white has 4 grams of protein. Obviously by removing the yolk, you would be loosing approx. 3 grams of protein. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
