I posted this on the diet board a while ago, but I was hoping to get some feedback from guys on this board.

I'm about 235-240. I'm hoping to lose about 20 lbs of fat and gain 5lbs of muscle over the next 10-12 wks. I'll also be doing a cycle with test, eq, clen, eca, t3.

I know the calories might be a bit high, but I have a pretty fast metabolism and I'd rather up the cardio than cut back too much on the calories.

Let me know what you think!

thanks.

I have never found that only consuming carbs early in the day and avoiding them at all cost in the afternoon and evening to be effective what so ever. I always eat some carbs right before bed, even while cutting. This makes better use of the protein you consume during that meal. I just spread the calories out evenly throughout the day. As long as you're using more calories than you are consuming you will be fine. Diet looks good to me. Your macronutrient ratios look right on and if you have a fast metabolism 3500 cals should be no problem. It's simple and you're eating good food choices so it should would providing you bust your ass in the gym and stick to the diet. Good luck...I start in march.

Looks pretty solid to me, also. I like the fact that your using protein powder, MRP's, ect. in there. Let me know how that works out, as opposed to using "whole" foods. A lot of people will disagree with you and say you need whole foods, but i think its fine using whey and MRP's. You have variety in there, and it looks to be pretty decent as far as eating goes.
Hey, did you find the macronutrient totals on that website you showed me? Or was that not you?

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to stick with this for a month without making any changes and then re-evaluate it at that point. It's hard to tell if a diet is working if you're changing it all the time. If I'm not losing weight fast enough, I'll try to up the cardio from 3 to 4 times per week.

hardcore, I'm glad you think that one MRP and protein here and there should be ok. It's really hard to get enough meals in there, and I think that combined with the other whole foods, I should be ok ( at least I hope so!). And I did get the totals from that website. I'll post it again in case others are interested, too.

It was a huge help in figuring out how many calories, etc I'm getting. Thanks again. I'll post my progress in a month or so.

Looks like your well prepared bro. I completely agree you need to stick with the diet for at least a month to determine it success. Most people change it daily so they are never able to figure out what works for them. That's good dedication on your part. You'll be fine with the mrp and shakes. Remember, whey is the most efficient protein the body can use. Just because you drink it doesn't make it sub par food. And it is food...just in liquad form. Good luck.

your diet look good. the only time i would repove mrp is if you want to do a compettion cutting cycle than from week 7 on I would remove them but you can lose bodyfat on this diet no problem. I liked the fact that you'll burn the extra calories by doing more cardio. Thats very smart.

thanks again guys. I'm starting my diet tomorrow. I pigged out for the last time tonight, but as of 8AM tomorrow it's full steam ahead! I know it's going to suck for a while, but I really want to look good for summer. So many guys just want to get big, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little size to get cut.

Flexed, Sadly, no competitions in the near future for me (I'd love to do one, but I'm not in that league ).
