I have a guy who wants to sell me some Accutane. Hee says they are 40mg, 10 per box. He wants 50 a box. Is that decent?? He has 7 boxes, is that enough??Is one pill a day for 70 days enough to reduce my subaceous gland??? I am sick of acne! I am almost 30 years old and I still get zits!! Now that I am post cycle, it is worse then ever. Is this enough??

Ok accutane will clear you up extremely, it has little sides, but it works. You feel kind of edgy. Anyway, if you have health insureance that covers prescriptions go to a doctor and ask for it. It is so easy. Teenagers get it all the time. If you do have an insurance carrier you will pay a little price compared to the price that guy offered. If the doctor's don't work a dermatologist will. Note: if you don't have a health insurance carrier it will cost about $600 a month. I think that is what I remember.
Later!

40 mg per day is an effective dose for many (it is what I took.) 70 days is not quite long enough, however. You will clear up (within 4-6 weeks,) but the long-lasting benefits that Accutane offers may require a longer regimen. Three or four months would be better.

Just my personal opinion but... stay away from Accutane.. It makes your acne worse for a month or so.. It sucks all the moisture out of your body.. over dries your whole body.. you might also need to take it a few times before clearing it up..
Try Vitamin-B12 (Panothenic Acid)
5 mg a day for a week
2 mg a day after
See if that works

I think I saw those for 65-70 bucks in Mex. Rare to find down there, to expensive to stock for most of those rinky dink pharmacies! Out of the 30 or so places one places had accutane. I got mine from a pharmacy in Europe at 60 bucks a box. 20mg pills, quantity 30 per box. Sooo your not doin too bad!

Just go to the doctor if you get any ones like I have had they will write you a precription and then it is only $100 for 30 and you can let healthcare pay for it HA!

I was on one pill 3 times a week for 6 months then again 6 months later for another 6 months. The last one I was on was 2 pills a day for 8 months. But be careful I was under a physican and still got arthritis in my back -- (I.E. NO SQUATS FOR A YEAR) -- it goes away but takes a long time and my back still hurts once in a while from it. You also have to becareful because it will severly dehydrate you to the point of the fluid in your joints starting to dry up creating major pain (and according to my doctor) you can blow a knee or shoulder easily. BECAREFUL!

I was talking to my dermatologist about getting on accutane, but the risks are pretty bad. Just like what Capital said, also it can cause permanent night blindness. My Dr. said that the odds of that are high , but it has happened. Also, about the dehydration and about your joints severly aching. All that is true, plus more. Really consider it b/f you do it.

Starting my course of Accutane soon. It cost me $190 CDN for 60 40MG caps. I am still contemplating taken it though because of the sides. Depression, nosebleeds, headaches, and joint pain don't sound too appealing! I will, however, take large amounts of essential fatty acids and drink plenty of water if I decide to use it. Anyone esle have any input on the side effects?

Dont listen to most people telling you not to take it. Some Dem. wont prescribe it because of their own bullshit thoughts they have on it---They want to keep people as long as they can on other bullshit creams that you already have tried before -- and accutane works for most people---you being almost 30 should not have to have acne---If you go to a dem. and he wont give it to you ,,go to another until one will. Your body will dry up on it and take milk thisthle for your liver--other then that dont worry about the sides--most are blown out of preportion---or else the shit would not be legal in the states..
