It's the biggest rip off. It usually takes 2 sometimes 3 days for delivery and costs $12.95 for a large envelope. USPS Priority costs $3.95 and also delivers in 2-3 days.

But if you must use Express: waive the signature box.

Also priority with delivery conf. is like 30% of the price for basically the same thing as express.

usps is a ripoff any way you go.i have used the priority mail(supposed to be 2-3 day delivery)and it has sometimes taken 2 weeks to be delivered, and thats in the us. they say 2or 3 days but, they also say thats on average. my dealings with them shows that it is usually around a week, and regular mail could usually get there about the same time.

Priority w/OUT confirmation is probably the safest way to mail (domestically) because no information is stored in the USPS database. But to do this you'd actually need to establish trust with your supplier/customer...which is very rare nowadays.

priority usually takes 4 to 5 days if traveling across the US. Express usually takes 2.

I can send priority from Cali to Jamaica, NY or Egg Harbor City, NJ and it'll arrive no later than 3 days (if I got it out early enough the first day). All hypothetical of course.

I shipped and received thousands of packages last year and Priority takes 2-3 days 90% of the time(yes there are occasional delays for unknown reasons but not often).

Express will be next day unless the clerk informs you that the area you are sending to is not near a major airport in which case it will take 2 days. If they cannot deliver by the promised time then they will refund your shipping cost.

Oh, I forgot to mention that with Express you are insured automatically up to $500.

Will that insurance pay when Customs snags my shit???LOL!!!
I always use Priority w/Confirm to send cash. Infact I usually use Global Priority to send cash overseas. Except to Lithawania. YOu can only send Global Express, have to make a custom declaration and you CAN'T waive the signature. Kinda weird! Packages that arrive from there always require a signature. But so far so good. I guess it is not a flagged country yet!!

express mail, even without a sig, eliminates the "lost in the mail" story.
