Ill probably get flammed for this, but some guy in my gym(a large (benches 4 plates) experienced bodybuilder) told me that during the run up to the 1980 olympia arnold and i think it was frank zane were both being given experimental monkey hormones by scientists to document there effect on humans. At first i laghed this of as complete bullshit but after looking at arnolds features during the 70s and today. Anybody else heard of anything like this, or can i get any other info to baffle my gym friend.     | ||

I don't know what Arnold or Zane did, but about 17 years ago in my gym there was a guy who used this. It was not a guy who went on the stage. He was huge because he took different roids and a lot. If he took it, then i am sure some guys who made money of it, sure where taking it also. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short | ||

I heard that he took gorilla hormones. Don't quote me though because the guy who told me is a compulsive liar. So either way I wouldn't know if he was telling the truth or not. lol | ||

Step back and think about this for a minute. What hormones do primates have in their body to build muscle? Same thing that we do...testosterone. So maybe there was a synthetic hormone being developed that was tested on monkeys to see its effects on human subjects. This would be no different than any other medical experiment that goes on thousands of times per day. | ||

LOL @ Iron Ghost. I spent 7 months in mostly Central Africa. I did a mountain climbing trip up into the high mountains and volcano ridges in search of mountain gorillas. We found a group, the male dominant one (silverback) charged at us a couple of times, it was scary as hell. So I couldn't even imagine one of those mf's on gear. ------------------ | ||

i have read about this a fair bit. some old school b'builders ( cant remember any names) used to buy monkeys on the black market, crack open the skulls with their hands and drink the fluid from the hypothalamus gland. check spelling. these guys were hard core, and this fluid made them crazy, one guy thought he could stop a car, ran out onto the road and got creamed. i know this all sounds like bullshit and you don't have to believe me but i know it is true. so don't flame me. make up your own mind, these are just the facts. i will try and dig up the article ------------------ | ||

What are you talking about! I still crack open monkey skulls to this very day! Anyone know where I can get a monkey skull opener from though? I hate always having to file the edge of his skull down and putting a pen cap over the top.. ------------------ | ||

When you said "old school", how old did you mean. That monkey skull bashing shit sounds like something cavemen used to do. Anyway I'm going to give it a shot. I already ordered two baboons from my source. Has anyone had a monkey seized at customs lately?? I used to get my monkeys domestic but he got busted...  ------------------ | ||
