Well, this is somewhat a relief you could say. I have been getting a reading on this little hand held bodyfat tester i have, and it has said 8% for the past few weeks. Well, i get the kickass calipers out a buddy has, and we measure up and down. Come to find out, i have 11.9% bodyfat, which comes to about 24 pounds of total fat im carrying. YES! I have to lose 28 more pounds to reach my weight class, and this means ill only be losing MINIMAL amounts of lean body mass. This i am happy about. Just thought i would let you guys know that have been helping me out.

Well, i have a couple of new pics, but i can't figure out how to get them on here. If someone will let me send them to them, and then they can post them up, that would work. Any volunteers?

Hey hardcore, You are definitely an optimist! Most guys would just bitch and moan if they learned that their bodyfat was higher than they originally thought. It's so nice to see someone who thinks positively!

Sorry, i can't help you with the photos. I think some guys have mentioned photopoint.com, but I don' tknow too much about it.

i think we all have the same show as I am 15 weeks out at 8%. Also Shawdow how do you lose 4% bodyfat a month? I lost the max 2.5 and that was cardio twice a day and as clean as clean goes on food. That does not seem realistic or maybe everyone is different. Any others with feedback?

Hey Hardcore --

Hotmail didn't like whatever you sent me. Try resending it in a jpeg format...

If you have it as a jpeg, you can also go to photopoint.com and upload it there, then post the link.

If you wanna give it another shot though, e-mail it again.

Later,
MACHINE

Flexed1 - I think the rule of thumb is pretty much 1% per week. For someone that is 200 pounds, that is only 2 pounds per week. Do 500 calories of cardio daily and pare off 500 calories daily from your diet and that equals 2 pounds per week.

I agree with The Shadow it is do-able. But hard and you must use ECA and T3 and a keto diet.

I go for a loss of 0.5% while off gear and 0.75% when on gear. But 1% is possible.

Shawdow for some reason that does not seem feasible. What your saying is 2 pounds equals 1 % of bodyfat. So in this case Hardore who is 11.9 % has roughly 8% to lose to get into prime contest condition. That is equivlant to 16 pounds which will not allow him to be in prime shape as he has over 24 pounds of bodyfat some somplace the equation goes south. The last 4% of bodyfat is always the hardest to come off as 0 as you know equals dead and below 6 the body fights the process. That said I don't think its possible to lose 4% per month and maintain muscle gear or no gear. I can go by what I looked like and again if you see my picture I did my homework and 2.5% was my max. Not an argument just don't see it this way.

What he means about the 2lbs = 1% is true for a man that is 200lbs.

What is 1% of 200?

It is 2lbs...

For some one who is 175lbs. 1% = 1.75lbs of fat

For someone who is 100lbs. 1% = 1lb of fat.

So if someone who is 200lbs want to lose 1% bodyfat they must burn 2lbs of fat or 7000 calories.

i got a question for you guys, im prepping aswell starting 16weeks out at 12.5% and now at almost 14 weeks its dropped to 11%, how much more fat burning do you think i can expect by including gh 8iu/day and pgf2a admin. throughout(well with the gh anyways) and t3 6 weeks out along with a nice course of anabolics, eating 3100-3200cals at 253 11% doing cardio 45min 5x/wk 220g carb 440g pro 40-50g fat

I realize this may not be rocket science but the equation does not work in real life as it pertains to bodyfat. The weight loss I understand but somehow when it come to the bodyfat this equation will not work. It is my personal beleif that you can not decrease bodyfat 4% every month. This will not work regardles of how much weight you loose. But we will let it rest and see if anybody who actually competes on stage has lost that much bodyfat per month.

I posted to see how much bodyfat the average competiotr loses in 1 month. This is driving me crazy and trust me its not me being an ass i want to know if I am doing something wrong as to me 4% is not possible but I will let others tell there results. I never did more than 2.5% and back than I was fully loaded on cardio and supplements.

Flexed1:

I compete but granted I don't look as good as you.

Keep in mind it's easy to go from 15% to 6-7% loosing 1% bodyfat per week. After that the body starts to slow down fat loss.

Then 0.5% is still acheivable with the proper diet, cardio and gear usage.

That I agree with. The last 4% the body trys to shut down as 0 equals dead so your body has instincts. I know when I competed if you saw my face it was like a skeleton as there was very little fat on my body but the .5% I totally agree with thanks.
