I had classic chronic fatigue syndrome for 4 years beginning in 1987. I was seriously fucked up. Recurrent fevers, dizziness, muscle and joint pain, fatigue like I had the flu, vision disturbances, memory problems, headaches and a number of other issues. Started like a viral infection, woke up one day and the room was spinning, started running a fever and having panic like attacks. Lasted 10 days, went a way for a week, then returned with a sudden onset. Then it waxed and waned for 4 years.

There are varying levels of chronic fatigue syndrome. Don't know what they are doing about it these days, but make sure they rule any other medical problems out.

X aren't you coming off a very long cycle? Did you take your clomid at the end? Did you check to see if your test levels are depressed? Very low test has the same symptoms as CFS.

my symptoms are what F1's were, and I do not know how to get rid of them.

What did you do F1?

Ulter: I have been on a cycle now for 4 weeks, deca/winstrol

Beezers: I took 3 weeks off around the holidays and it still didn't help

You might think this is odd, but perhaps you should try ORGANIC multi- vitamins/ minerals at a high dose. Not rarely if someome has aspecific complaints like chronic fatigue, having it cold often, etc it's caused by shortage of vitamins. This shortage can be caused by AS...

Well if they can't find anything you should really try this. Hope this helps. Good luck...

Never been on high doses of AAS, only replacement. Oddly, my doc took me off Test about 3 months before the CFS happened, wanted to see where I would rebound to. However, it wasn't just the low libido, energy, etc. that occurs with low circulating test levels. This hit me just like a bout of the flu. One day fine, next day fucked. Plus, you don't get fevers and all the neurologic shit with low test levels.

Now, it could be that dropping my test for a couple of months opened me up to whatever the predisposing factor was (viral, environmental, etc.) The fact that I was sick for 10 days then got better makes me think it was a viral trigger. When I relapsed 10 days later, it was likely the immune upregulation that occurs with classic CFS to something that is no longer present, or at least that they could find.

I was off test for about 2 years and my circulating levels were between 400 - 500 ng/dl. Normal they said, but low normal in my opinion. Eventually I got tired of the "its in your head bullshit" even though they couldn't explain the fevers. MDs are great at ignoring the symptoms they can't explain and writing you off to the shrinks.

Eventually I was put back on Test 200 mg/wk, took B-12 im 2000 ug/wk and used some non-steroidals for the muscle and joint pain. Slowly the symptoms resolved, took about a year for my head to clear and energy to come back. I'll never come off the test and take that chance again. You may find glutamine and DHEA helpful as well. I'd drop the deca and winny and go to test. Different androgens affect the immune system differently. Stay with what's naturally produced until you get this resolved.

I had a shrink tell me that I was setting myself up for failure by beginning grad school and this (CFS) was my way out without admitting failure, what a fucking asshole she was. Once I got over CFS I finished my Ph.D. without any problems.

You'll find that most doctors are your enemy in this because they don't have a fucking clue. They'll always try and refer you to the shrinks because they can't explain the physical symptoms. But in my case, even the shrinks couldn't explain the fevers.

It wasn't until they did an immune system workup at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and found that certain aspects of my immune system were grossly upregulated, finally explaining some of the flu-like symptoms

My suggestion is to contact the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Dr. Len Calabrese (if he is still there) in immunology. He knows his shit. Been working with CFS and HIV patients for years. They had and may still have a Fatigue Clinic. I know a few years back they were seeing a number of patients for CFS.
