I have been wondering, since im on a cycle of Aratest, Deca, Winny, Clen & ECA, that i need to make sure im taking in the correct amount of protein & calories. I know that it matters how much you are taking in because on a cycle, your body increases protein synthesis right? Well, since im dieting for a contest, of course the AAS will keep most of the muscle i have worked so hard for, and ill be shedding the fat. Is there a certain amount i need to go for? Right now, im weighing 203 with 8% bodyfat. Need to shed about 27 more pounds to make it to weigh-in. Any help would be awesome guys. Bro - assuming you are 200 @ 8% BF - you only have 16 pounds of fat on your body. Why would you purposely lose 11-12 pounds of LBM??? | ||

Thanks for replying Shadow. At least somebody did. Well, i didn't know that it was that low. I figured i had around 25 pounds of fat or so on my body, but i guess not! Hell, if it comes down to it, i guess i will have to compete as a small light-heavy or something. I guess being a shredded 185 wouldn't be too bad, but i would get smoked like a motherfucker, i just know it. Those guys carry too much size, and plus im 5'10". Im gonna check my bodyfat tonight, so i can get an accurate reading and see exactly what it is. But my main question, is with the drugs im taking, and they are at fairly high dosages (aratest @ 1 gram per week, and Deca @ 600mg per week...winny 50mg per day), so i should hold on to most of what i have worked so hard to get right? hey hardcore, you are correct as you are saying that you will remain full on your cycle. Just keep in mind you ahve 4 % of bodyfat to loose as well as some 15-17 pounds before your show. The most i could lose per month was 2 .5 % and that is a bit high. Your calories and protein should be determined by your bodyfat. As I mentioned before try to do your bodyweight times 12 and keep protein at 2 times so in your case 400 grams a day ( 1,600 calories in protein) keep your carbs at about 150 a day ( 600 calories) and keep your fat at no more than 15 grams ( 135) for a total of about 2335 per day.Going by my guide you are very close to 12 times your bodyweight. The cardio is important as the extra food you eat ( most folks to loose eat 10 times bodyweight) will cut ya and lean ya. Don't drop your calories to low and have your bodfat done every two weeks from here in as that is the best way to gauge yourself. Hope this helps. let me know if not. | ||

Ill see if this works. Right now, im probably taking in about 275 grams of protein, and a lot more carbs then 150grams. Is 150 grams enough?
