I just started taking testosterone 2 weeks ago. My first injection was fine, no problem. My second injection was not so good. Immediately after removing the needle, I felt a strange sensation in my leg then througout my body. I quickly became very nauseous and broke out in a heavy sweat. I ran to the bathroom sat on the floor and started getting really dizzy/lightheaded and my vision was fuzzy for a second. I thought I was going to pass out. The whole episode lasted for I guess 15 minutes, after which I sat down for a while and was exhausted. After doing a little research tonight, the 1 thing I did wrong I found out was I swabed the needle with alcohal after I had touched it. I thought I had all the air bubbles out but can't remember for sure. Could the rubbing alcohal have been what caused this? and what happens when an air bubble IS injected into the muscle. If not, any ideas on what could have happened? The whole thing was enough for me to consider stopping the entire process all together. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks     | ||

Sounds like you were fainting bro. This is common in some people. It wasn't from swabbing the needle. Did you make sure there was no blood in the syringe? | ||

You injected in a vein. You should aspirate the plunger before injecting. That is to pull the plunger back and check to see if blood is drawn. It it is just hard to pull then you are fine. | ||

Ya know, I thought that maybe that was the case, but I was fine the first time. Needles and injecting myself don't bother me. Don't get why the second time around would be any different. Maybe I'm just a p*ssy. | ||

Only reason why I could see that you injected into a vein is the fact that you stated the process lasted 15 minutes, which is a long time for a faint. If it was a faint then your not a pussy, that is a naturual reaction somtimes | ||

THAT WAS A VEIN!!! My friend i did the same thing. It sucks don't it.. i even aspirated! Make sure the pin does not move once you aspirate, if it does then you just defeated yourself. good luck with the next one. ------------------ | ||

Ugghhh, don't worry; the SAME, EXACT, thing happened to my best friend two weeks ago. You were fainting. Look up my post I think the title was Scared, Please Help Now and check out the responses. It really shook him up at first and he swore that he would never touch steroids again, but three days later he called me up and told me that he would continue his cycle. He has done two more injections since then without a problem. You don't have to be scared in order to faint, everyone has a little anxiety before a shot. ------------------ |
