any u guys ever suffer from lower back pain ?
i have had a bad back for years due to leg press its very low at the base.what treatment u had?

You might be pressing so deep in your range of motion that you are creating stress in your sacro-illiac and lumbo-sacral joints.
The backrest pad should be used as a support and do not go deeper in the range than can allow your back to stay flat against the support pad. Lower back pain is a bitch to rehab. and resolve. Squatting with good form
is superior to leg pressing for lower body
development and safer for the lower back.

Yep, in H.S growing up, i could never do squats b/c of my back. Eventually legpress, and regular working out became a problem for me. So I had to have Major back surgery, and its been 8mon(post surgery) and i'm slowly getting back into the gym. So if you have lower back problems, check it out with a doc. and don't try to ignore the pain. Trust me!
