How much fat do you guys recommend to be taken in during the day in order for the body to keep burning fat and not put any on??
Is it true that your metabolism is 5X faster in the morning then at night??

This will get some flames, BUT what works best for ME is the following. I stay on a 40/30/30 Protein/Carb/Fat diet year round. To cut or bulk, I reatin the same percentages but increase portions. To cut, I use 11 calories x bodyweight. To bulk I use 15x calories. Have never had trouble bulking or cutting with this diet, and of course some cardio.

It's true that the metabolism is slower at night, I don't think it is 5x slower, as the body uses this time for repair and growth.

Damn Shadow, you and I have almost identical methodologies regarding bulking and cutting. I use 10 x bodyweight for cutting (initially), and then reduce by 200 cals per week until I'm cut. For bulking I also use the 15 x bodyweight. Anything more than that and I start to get pudgy around the waist.
