I am 8 weeks out from a show and can't sleep worth a shit. I either can't fall asleep till 2:00 am or I fall asleep and wake 2-3 hours later...and can't get back to sleep for another hour or two. The is screwing up my workout intensity and recouperation. In fact the harder I train the less I can sleep! You would think it would be just the opposite. Anyone else have this problem while training for a show? Any advice appreciated...

That is one of the signs of overtraining.
It is also one of the signs that you are on clen or eca.
Ether. that is the way to go. (that is a joke, don't fuck with that shit, you'll blow your house up)

I have tried valium, kolonapin and even melatonin. NOTHING.
If you find a solution, let me know.

what are you taking? I had that problem when doing some deca last year. Tried some valium and that helped...I was just worried about a dependency on it. If you try that, then do a half or one tab no more than 3 times a week and only for a couple of weeks.

Also, I found out that a wild sex romp helps too (though it never really works when I am solo 'cause I tried that too.)

Thanks for the info. I am on a cycle of deca/clen/Winstrol. As far a sleeping pills...did some research and found that they all decrease stage IV deep sleep and REM...(Just the things I need). WIll be looking into melatonin or GHB analogs. Sex does work sometimes....as long as its quick. However, my girlfriend is one of these chicks that likes to screw for hours...burns fat but does not help with muscle growth or strength.

I would check that clen and slowly come off until about two weeks out or at least try to cut down. Get some GHB or ambien and drink some green tea at night. Also, you may want to change that stack soon. Try, something like winny/prop/EQ and use that clen the last two weeks full bore.

If you're having trouble falling asleep, then try some kavakava and 9mg of melatonin. That should hold you asleep for some time. If you are waking up in the middle of the night, then GHB will make it worse, and ambien will not help all that much either (they both only last for a few hours). Valium lasts too long and takes too long to work, so that won't help you fall asleep.

It probably has to do with overtraining or possibly some other stresses in your life. Relax a little bit...you'll live longer.

You might have sleep-apnia. My dad had that. The doctor got him hooked up to some breathing machine, it helps him get a deep sleep. It helped him a lot. I really don't know too much about sleep apnia, but it couldn't hurt to see a doc. just a suggestion.

Thanks for all the advice. Will definitely change my stack (thanks perfect rep). Will cut down on training some and see what happens. May try some melatonin, valeria or kava. I am pretty sure its not sleep apnea (usually found in overweight people). If still problems then I will try the sleeping pill route for a short cycle.

Something else you might want to try is ZmassPM..It's by Cytodyne.. works very well at giving you a full nights rest. PLus it elevates your own test up.

I use melatonin, it works pretty good, but I usually wake up a couple times during the night. Also, depending on your schedule, try napping during the day. I took a nap today and had some killer REM, I know that cause I can remember my dream. As you probably know dreams occur during REM. Later bro.
