Do you think he's a stand up guy who knows his stuff or a scammer on the supplement side of the market now eventhough he got that big on the juice not the EAS?

Like him or not, he is a marketing genius. That being said, I wish someone would light him on fire...

He knows how to use the system to make money. It is up to every individual to think critically and know the difference betwen lies and truths. He has aso helped a lot with spreading the world about legit supplemets (however overpriced they may be).

Yes. You too could gain 32 lbs of muscle in 12 weeks by simply buying 4000 dollars worth of my supplements. LMAO peace

I'll agree with the statement that Bill Phillips didn't get the body he has now from supplements alone, but I don't think he's a fraud. Actually, I think he's on our side of the steroid issue (don't ya'll remember the old Muscle Media 2000?)... he thinks that steroids, used responsibly, can be a very useful tool to build a desirable physique. I can't say that I really blame him for changing Muscle Media to what it is now (basically just a vehicle to sell EAS supplements and promote the Body for Life program); He probably believes more in the old MM 2000, but he predicted (correctly) that a switch to a "natural" format for the magazine and his company would be more financially rewarding. Besides, there's nothing really wrong with the BFL program, and EAS supplements, albeit expensive, are top-notch goods. In my opinion, the guy is helping a lot of people get into shape and improve their lives, while at the same time making a shitload of money. Now who wouldn't want to do that? ------------------ [This message has been edited by Cuts (edited January 23, 2001).]

Marketing genious...yes. Sellout..yes. I think he still uses gear and preaches the anti-steroid garbage to everyone, so that makes him a hippocrit.

There is not enough propane in the country for all the flames this bitch is going to get.. The only way i would buy any supplement he made is if i had to smuggle it across the border... It is a shame, i think myoplex shakes taste great, i just can't bring my self to buy them. ------------------

What about all those amazing transformations? People go from couch potatoes to contest level body builders in 12 weeks based on some power shakes and lifting three times a week. Thats all natural, right?

Why hate the man because he knew how to make money? Did he produce bogus supps? No. Of course the price was a little higher, but that's up to the consumer to pay. It's also up to the consumer to take his marketing pitch. I don't hate the man, he knows how to run a business. He knew MM2K couldn't survive or go "big time" without a change. He simply read the market and played his cards right. Hell, anyone with marketing experience would do the same. He never preached anything bad about steroids unlike other magazines...namely Muscular Development. The programs work, the supps work, so what is all the complaining about? Either buy his shit or don't buy it. Personally, I mix supps from all different companies and just go with what works and what doesn't. Later! P.S. I do admit that I hate how the magazine changed from the old days, but hey, I just don't buy it anymore so what do I care? ------------------ [This message has been edited by CONTRACTION (edited January 23, 2001).]

Superstar hit it on the head. As you know 99.5%of us are into gear, phillips had a great mag. i coouldn't wait to get it and read about juice and the tips and secrets, but when he came out-of-the-closet gay magazine prick, alot of people lost respect. Does he know how to market YES??do i like him? NOOOOOO WAY

what is this old mag you talk about I only know of the MM2K.

Bill Phillips uses gear and makes money out of it. Weider didn't use gear (didn't use anything for all i know) but his muslce mags and his products made him a billionaire. And all the time he let the world believe NOBODY took roids. Speaking of some hippocrit. I think the Weiders are worse then Bill Phillips. ------------------ Don't look back, life is too short

OK guys here's a little inside info... My best friends sister works for EAS and she is an upper level executive. MM2K is no longer Bill Philips mag. He owns 30% of the mag but the magazine is put out now by another company I'ld have to ask her what the name is again. I dont really know whether he sold out or not I know this new company thought it was a bad image for the mag to be talking about steriods so they went natural. They also thought this would help sell the mag to a broader age group and type of people instead of just bodybuilders and wannabe's. From what I understand Bill now has a new passion he is writing screen plays I guess for movies or something. I has his hair died blonde and has vowed to never work his legs again for what reason I dont know.... I can tell I am gonna get flamed for this but for real she knows him personally...

Some people respect me others don't. I will make another come back under a different name and fool all of you. I am a genious. I want what is best for you, and I know that you need my knowledge still in the juicin' industry. Under my fake name, you will like everything I have to say, and then I will come out and tell you who I am, and you will sit there in amazement. You will say to yourself, "Man, I didn't know I was agreeing on information from a guy that I hated". I love each and every one of you, and everything was taken out of context with the moves that I made as owner of MM and EAS. I tried to do something good for the people of the world and all I got was a big hassle. I am considered a "hipocrite" as well. It will be my mission to gain back the trust of each and every one of you, and I will not stop until I get this. Sincerely, your friend,. William Phillips

his supplements never ever did a thing for me .why, don't know but they were way overpriced anyway especially for no benefits.

He gained peoples trust by saying things in his mag, that others would not say--dropping the bomb on supp. companies all the while pushing his product on to us. Classic deception, theirs another mag. doing the same thing with Muscle tech. He is a genius but also a criminal.

I highly doubt that was W. Nathaniel Phillips,as he hasn't given gear using athletes that he sold out to the time of day for years...

I think as long as he is juiced, rich, and doin what he likes, he doesnt give a shit if you and I juice! Why would he? Sounds like Vince McMahon WWF owner, bi-sexual, old man on juice.

Any guy who prints the address of a domestic source in his magazine is a fucking punk bitch. What he did would be the equivalent of one of us starting our own muscle magazine and writing an article on "THE 'NET & MAILORDER STEROIDS" as well as listing names/handles, email addresses, price lists and mailing addresses. Bill Philips should've been a professional informant, but I doubt the pay would've been as well.

Didnt know he did that my brother! He is a punk bitch for that. Pretty bold for a ex-dealer huh? Counterfiet at that!!!

Yea, he stirred up alot of heat in one article in particular on how easy it was to get juice in Mexico. They even talked to customs agents and told them where they purchased them and how easy it was to smuggle them. Dicks like him are making it harder on us.
