I went from 157 to 182 in four weeks. Tremendous gains in strength in all body parts, so I know my muscle mass is growing.

My problem is that I do not look much different than I did 25 pounds ago. My shirts fit a bit different, but not a LOT differently. I measured my chest, waist and arms last night. My chest is up an inch, waist is the same size and arms are up 3/4 of an inch or so. I did not gain any fat, maybe a bit of water.

I am not sure where these 25 pounds went to. People say I look bigger, but not the "wow" I expected with 25 extra pounds.

Any opinions? This is really bothering me.

I don't think the WOW will really be known, until you hit the beach this summer and take your shirt off. That's when you know if you have worked hard enough or not....

i'm 5 weeks into my first cycle. i have't gained much weight (only 10 lbs) but i've had a couple comments on how much bigger i look. i've had great strength gains (30-50 lbs on each exercise) but only added 1" on the chest and biceps. (43/16a)

first cycle reality hit me this week, i realized i wasn't going to get HUGE on my first cycle. <g>

(8 weeks of 500 mgs of durateston 250 per week)

At 182 your never going to get a WOW. If your ripped at 182 and you go to the beach you may get a WOW!!!! By the way, gaining an inch on your arms and chest and not gaining any on your waist is awsome growth.

ch0ke, sounds like we are similar. My chest just hit over 46 and my arms are getting closer to 16.5/17

I have 7 weeks to go on 200mgs of tes and 200mgs of primo per week, so I still have some growing and bulking to do. I think I will start cutting back on fat intake soon, start trimming some fat away. Sometimes thats what it takes to look bigger I guess.

Scuba steve- how tall are you. Sometimes your first cycle will just fill in your problem areas. I'm on my 4th week now of omnadrin and deca and put on a solid 12 pounds.I'm 5'8 and 175 now.When I look in the mirror I see almost no differance. My ex- girlfriend saw me last night in a tee shirt and said that I put on alot of weight. If your like me your looking at yourself everyday trying to see new growth. You should have taking a before and after picture that sometimes will show you your progress.Good luck on the rest of your cycle.And wait until you ripp up thats when you really notice the gains.---PEACE--Mad Max

I am 5'6" or so and yes, I do look in the mirror looking for new growth everyday Which is a big mistake I guess. I am going to start doing cardio, get my stomach in tighter and cut the fat off.

check your legs. I put on 40 pounds this summer but wondered why I didn't look that much bigger.It all went to my legs. I got a couple inches on my calves and about 4 on my thighs.

about me not seeing any expansion in my waist size... at the same time i started my cycle i started doing abs 5 days a week... before then i was lucky if i did them once a week, so i think that's why i'm not seeing my waist size increase.

and about not seeing my own gains. i feel i have a self image permanently burned into my brain sometimes... that image of a very scrawny, out of shape 18 year old who couldn't do one pullup or bench 100 lbs.

but... OTOH, i just got back from the gym, doing shoulders... got a great pump and a eyebrow-raise-smile-and-nod from a HUGE dude at the gym... self confidence climbing... stay tuned.

Scubasteve and MadMax its nice to see some guys about my size in here. I'm getting ready to start my first next week of Deca/D-bol 300mg/week-25mg/day. I'm a little taller I'm 6' and a unexceptable 165lbs. Let me know how you guys are doing and what do you think I can expect.

My bf % is about the same and my waist size is the same. I dont think thats where the weight went to. I think I just grew all over and thats why I cant see it that well.

The other thing is that I gained lots of weight on my chest and back, so its not that obvious.

yeah,I`m right their with you guys 5`8 175@ about 15% bf right now.I have only done 2 small cycles ever.last summer in july I was 184@ 14% at the peak of my cycle so ive held on to my gains pretty good since.and going to do a couple short cycles 1 in march take off april and 1 in may.I`m hoping to hit around 190@ 10/12%bf which would be great for my genetics and age 34. trying to shed the fat on eca right now.

Bro if you have gone up 25 lbs and your waist has stayed the same I guarantee you your bf composition has changed.

I try to compare apples to apples. Shorts only after a work out to shorts only. I couldnt believe the scale, so I weighed myself a few times on different scales. All of them vary between 177 to 182 right now. This confuses me as well. People tell me that I have gained weight, I just dont see it that much.

You should weigh yourself every morning when you get up and before you consume anything and use a decent quality scale. You'd be surprised how much the difference is compared with evenings.
