I have probably taken over a 500 shots in my gear career and have never had a problem besides the ocassional blood spurts or soreness afterwards. Anyway I took a 1.5cc shot of Final last night in the shoulder as I always do,but had to use a 3/4 needle instead of my normal 1". I thought my freaking arms was going to fall off. My entire arm just burnt insanely for at least 5 minutes, I of course had a huge knot on my shoulder which went away after a slow massage. What the hell happend? Is this the feeling you get when you dont get all they way in the muscle? I have freaking bruise the size of a hockey puck on my shoulder, but no swelling. Should I treat it anyway? Its not hurting at all even when I touch it so Im wondering if it really is a bruise. help!    | ||

Yeah that is what it sounds like. That you didn't go far enough in the muscle. Keep an eye on it. G-Man  | ||

I have had the extreme swelling from not getting deep enough into the muscle. A lot of pain but no bruising. I would imagine that you nicked a cap. on the way out. That would explain some of the burning, the bruise, and why there is no pain. | ||

I appreciate the neighborly love! I was actually pretty calm about it as far as being worried, but I did bring down the house with a T-Rex like roar. My wife was pretty shook up. Your experience is exactly what happend to me! |
