I WALK IN TO THE GYM TODAY AND A FEW BUDDIES OF MINE RUN UP AND TELL ME MY WORK OUT PARTENER IS IN THE HOSPITAL. HE HAD BEEN COMPLAINING ALL WEEK ABOUT HIS CHEST FEELING FUNNY. HE JUST THOUGHT IT WAS A PULLED MUSCLE OR SOMETHING. IT TURNS OUT THAT LATE LAST NIGHT HE HAD A HEART ATTACK. THEY DON'T NO HOW BAD IT WAS AS OF LATE. SO GUYS DO ME A FAVOR AND SAY A PRAIR FOR HIM TONIGHT. THANKS GUYS    | ||

WOW ONLY 22! Did he ever have cholesterol checked?What was his diet like,and was he juicing heavy.I'm sorry to hear that.He will be in my prayers tonight. Get those blood tests done.I felt fantastic all the time.I could eat 2 big macs and a dozen doughnuts at a sitting,and still be lean,hard ripped and HUGE,@ 5'10" 255 with a 34 in. waist. After my first blood test 6 months ago,my doctor called me at home and said "GET IN HERE NOW".He was surprised my blood was even pumping.My total cholesterol was 319.Normal is 120-200.My HDL(good) was 10.Normal 35-60.My LDL was(BAD) 265.Normal is 0-129. It scared the hell out of me.I changed my diet so extensively,it's not even funny.I still eat a ton and I can't believe the abs that have come in,and I got bigger.I picked the right parents in terms of genetics. But I was a setting myself up for the silent killer.THANK GOD I found out about it now.Besides,I have to be around to see the WHITE SOX win a World Series HE HE ------------------ | ||

BOUNCER, what state do you live in? If this is too personal to post on the board I understand. E-mail me if you want. The reason I ask is because I am a diet aid in a heart hospital. Not that I can do much, but I might be able to have the nurses make it a more comfortable stay for him. Anyway, my prayers are with him man. | ||

He is in my prairs tonight Was he sleeping? That's the biggest fear I have is if you have a Heart Attack while you are sleeping will you wake up? or just die in your sleep without even knowing, sometimes I am scared to goto sleep anyone else like this or know about he question, thanks | ||

He'll deffinately be in my prayers tonight bro. I knew a guy who dropped dead from a heart attack in a bar...he was 21. bigpoppapump55, it all depends. When I was in HS, a good friend of mines dad was asleep and had a major heart attack...killed him. His 8 yar old son found him the next morning and he was blue. the guy was in good shape too...although he did smoke. He was my baseball coach for many years. I think he was only 38. | ||

bouncer...please keep us posted. I wish for a speedy recovery. Hopefully, since he is young and strong, no permanent damage was done. Chances are he'll recover fully. Keep the faith. And this is a good wakeup call to live each day to the fullest...and get those damn bloodtests...especially when juicing!!!!! | ||

Sorry ot hear this...This happened to a friend of mine about 6 months ago he was 30. 6' 280 lbs ripped taking everthing and anything, diet sucked ate all kinds of fast food and stuff. You just gotta watch it, my rule is gear amplifies everything good and bad, eating bad when on the shit is much worse than doing so naturally.
