Is the site warm to the touch (warmer than the rest of your body?)

Is it red?

Is there a knot?

Grab a pen and outline the pink/red circle around the injection site - if it grows outside of the pen mark (its growing) you made (in a few days) either get some antibiotics or preferably go see the doc.
If not don't worry.

I would heat it as many times throughout the day as you can - boil some water put salt in there (the salt might be an old wives tale but I assume you don't care and will do it anyways) throw a towel or rag in there and start applying the heat. Dont burn yourself, but make sure its hot.

What were you injecting? And why not use the glute? To many holes?

Shit happens. If it gets worse, see a doc. I've injected before, and everything seemed okay...until the next day and three days afterward, when it felt like somebody shot me.
