Hey guys i've been having a lot of problems with these primo amps. They open fine, but when i stick the needle in there to suck out the juice it wont do it. That oil in there is so thick i need to bring it slightly up to catch both air and liquid. Any recommendations or tricks i can use, because as it is i'm wasting a little some of it in this process...

Are you using an 18 g drawing needle?

Your needle is too thick for drawing. You could remove the plunger, hold the amp to it (it fits just right) and shake real hard to get the thick oil into the syringe. You will probably shoot more then one amp at a time. My guess is 3. After you are done, poor the leftovers of the 2 amps in the third (if you use 3). You will be surprised how much there still is in the amp. For me when i did this with 6 amps, i could save myself half an amp that otherwise was thrown away.

I use an 18g to draw and a 23g to shoot. Try heating the amps up real good under some hot water to thin the oil a bit. Good luck, Green

i think my problem lies with the size needle i'm using. I'm drawing up with a 23G and it may be too small? Problem is i don't have any other needles, i could maybe try to warm it up... any other suggestions or tricks?

If you aren't going to use drawing needles, do what Jeff said, just make sure you don't touch the plunger to anything (make sure it stays sterile).

Definately heat it up. Try putting it in some boiling water for 1 minute. Your 23G should suck it right up. But ideally, get a 18G for drawing .
