always thought about that. mesterolone IS an androgenic substance. however, it does NOT aromatize nor effect on sperm count. but then again, why everybody say it's an anti-estrogen? if it was, it wouldn't be ranked as an "androgen" in a 2001 edition of pharmaca fennica (it's a finnish drug-guide for doctors). and there's a different category for anti-estros and aromatase inhibitors. proviron however isn't in those.. somebody please explain this! ------------------

Proviron will increase androgen levels in the body yes, but at the same time will supress estrogen all together. So rather than treating estrogen problems like other maint. drugs, proviron will put a stop to most all aromatization all together. Higher androgen levels/lower estrogen levels Hope this helps ya out bro, ------------------

Proviron, even it's androgen, binds to estrogen receptor and block estrogen from doing it.The down part of Proviron, compare to Nolvadex or Clomid,is that it binds to androgen receptor as well, and block Test from doing it.That's why athletes use very low dose of Proviron, just enough to work as anti-estrogen(25mg/day) |
