I am currently on Anitbiotics for an infection, I need to start Clomid tomorrow...Will the antibiotics affect the clomid in any way...sides...I also want to load up on 300mg of Clomid day 1....Please Help?    | ||

From NJ too so I'll help, yes stack 300mgs clomid day one. I do it and recommed it, get the levels as high as possible quickly and then taper down. day 1 300 week 1 150mgs/ed week 2 100mgs/ed week 3 50mgs/ed that is my normal clomid schedule. . .I also throw in proviron but that's another discussion. As far as antibiotics. . .if it is something like zythromax, biaxin, cypro, or along those lines there is no counteridication with clomid. . .if you are concerned go to the PDR (physicians desk reference) look up clomid and the antibiotic you are using and do some research. . .you'll find they are physiologically non interactive. . .no problem. . ------------------  | ||

No, the antibiotics should not have any effect on the actions of clomid. Just take them as prescribed and be sure to finish the entire prescription, regardless of whether the infection is present or not in a few days. | ||

your going to lose gains from the antibiotics bro, they inhibit protein synthesis causing it hard to hold onto your gains. I learned that the hard way last cycle | ||

I think some antibiotics can be antianabolic which may affect your gains that you have made\making while on clomid. Gymbob. |
