Bill Phillips states that Nubain blocks inhibition of natural test production.Very interesting,but hard to believe theory. Does anybody(self proclaimed Gurus)have any comments on this? | ||

I have abused the shit out of this drug as well as Oxycontin & Temgesic & basically any other painkiller I could get my hands on, up until about a year ago when I decided that enough was enough. Im not gonna preach to the choir here, but that shit is counter-productive if you are into lifting at all. The theory that it is anti-catabolic is bullshit & if you are taking it 2 times a day, I doubt that you have felt like doing much of anything, let alone going to the gym. Also, if you have started to use the shit IV, I am gonna assume that you have been using Nubain for awhile as it usually takes some time before people finally get to the IV route of administration. This(IVing the shit)is usually the line from which you do NOT want to cross. The difference between an IM or SubQ injection and an IV is night & day as the IV route allows the drug to basically hit the brain intact, thus producing WAY more euphoria than other methods. I am advising you to cut back & try to quit, but I realize that you will have to go through this shit on your own to find out that Nubain sucks. It basically sucks as an opiate AND a painkiller as I got more pain relief out of Motrin & more Euphoria out of Poppy Tea. | ||

I have read a few articals on nubain. My take on why the pros would choose to use this grug is how it blocks the pain and thus alowing you to lift more. | ||

Nubain is very bad my friend was on it because he had a shoulder and back injury he took it so their was no pain when he lifted. In the long run he would not lift without it and he ended up hurting himself even more so now his rotator cup is so bad he can't even lift anymore without severe pain. Nubain is very adictive and I would not recommend it to anyone especially IV sorry but you're crazy. | ||

I just enjoy the buzz. I feel great when I'm in the gym. only do I.V. for the rush. I rarely drink and don't do any other drugs. A budy of mine was doing a bottle a day. He was training for a "BIG" competition and tore his patella tendon and didn't feel a thing, just heard it snap!!! so I know of the dangers, and I appreciate your "preaching", I'm also in construction, that mixed w/ lifting to grow is pounding my body.It just nocks out the little aches/pains. I plan to be very careful w/ this drug!!!I only did I.M. a few times, but I still enjoy the rush. | ||

holy shit, a bottle a day? thats like a gram a day. I'm interested in what this stuff feels like. Does it make you feel sick? I can get nausea very easily from too much opiates like hydrocodone. | ||

Nubain has all of the addictiveness of heroine and morphine without the GREAT Euphoria of Heroine or Great Painkilling from morphine! It is A fools drug! You are flirting with the Hell of opiate addiction, and getting only a slight taste/hint of the pleasure/pain relief afforded by other opiates. I suggest orals eg: hydrocodone;oxycodone/oxycontin! Get Some Heroine, Demerol, Dilaudid or Morphine If You MUST use the needle. Then at least when you SUFFER and You will Suffer, You will have gotten something from the drugs that made you a junkie. I am not trying to preach to Ya, I have just seen, and experienced a lot and am trying to help. Goodluck! | ||

Bigger Than You, You are TOTALLY FALSE. Nubain and other drugs like it are NOT EVEN anywhere near as addictive as Opiates. Nubain isnt even a scheduled drug. Stadol and Temgesic (drugs similar but stonger than Nubain) still arent anywhere as addictive as drugs like percocet and demerol,morphine. heroin,ect. Twenty units on an insulin syringe is only like 4 or 5 mg which is fucking nothing(drug comes in 10mg and 20mg/ml strengths). ------------------ | ||

Motorhead what the fuck man, how many people have to go down to this drug before you realize that it's bad news. I have had a problem with it for over a year, on and off, on and off. Put the shit down! you said you Just started? Well JUST QUIT. Nothing good will become of it. When you try to get off you will go through one of the worst times in your life. TRUST ME. You'll stay in bed for 4-5 days feeling like you have the flu times 10> I.v. users a worse off because it's that much more intense . Get off, get away and trell whoever you're getting it from to not ever mention it to you and do not offer it. Hey Kneepads, tell it to my Bro who has been JONESIN'(sweats/Chills/Puke) for Nubain all WEEKEND! Daily IV use of Nubain IS a sure ticket to Hell, Bro. The reason it is not scheduled is that it Doesn't have a high potential for Abuse! In other words, it Doesn't feel/work good enogh for MOST people to continue using! Underestimating the addictive properties of ANY opiate is foolish. | ||

I have a very strong mental capacity... I chewed tobaco for 5 years and quit cold with no problem...same with booze and even weed but let me tell you that NUBAIN IS BAD NEWS!!!!! I WAS HOOKED AND IT IS A BITCH TO COME OFF!!!!! Take it from a former hard core user of STADOL (heavier/stronger feeling than Nubain) who was using 5mg Stadol per IV shot-for your benefit 5mg Stadol= 50 mgs! of Nubain per shot. Coming off what you guys are on is a fucking piece of cake. Anyone who ever has a problem I will be happy to get some Ultram for them to detox if they are serious and want help. ------------------ | ||

nubain is just an excuse for BB to use it ease their pain. shit if you can't handle the pain then you shouldn't be a bodybuilder. most of them are straihgt up lying to themselves including me. last week, i got a 10ml/20mg bottle of nubain for the very first time cuz i want to get high off this shit. i injected 1ml/20mg via IM and 10-15 minutes later, i felt so damn good and all my problems in my life seem to disappear. but then i puke my ass off and almost passed out i sweated like a pig. thats was the last shot i ever did and never again. now i can understand if people who have legit medical proplems regarding pains then they have a reason to take this sfuff. otherwise we BB should stay as far as we can from this shit.it not only ruin your workout but your personal life as well. also, nubain is metabolized in the liver and excreted by the kidney and if you're juicing as the same time, well i'll let you think about that one. BTW, nubain is as potent as morphine ml for ml. still if anyone want to use it , the dosage is 10mg per 70kg. i hope you (who are using this stuff) much luck and pray for you. to make it. to see your kids or grand kids. | ||
