I have been lifting for about 2 years and was wondering what you guys thought about this. I am 21 years old and i have been trying to put on weigh and have been eating everything in site. I have a ecto type body and very hard to put on weight and size notice the more i eat kinda just sits on my wwaist line. Should i just deal with the dilema that i am gonna be skinyy till my metabolism slows down and try to stay lean and cut right up or go for a bit more size with a gut. The heighest weight i have been up to is 178 but seemed to stop there no matter how much I ate. I am natural obviously havent beeen training long enough but just wanted your suggestions

Put some size on bro. Bust your ass to do it. Your gut is most likely do to an expanded stomach capacity and bloat from all the food. There is no point in being cut if there is nothing there to show off. Bust your ass in the gym and bust your ass in the kitchen. I say go for growth. At least hit 200. If you are heavily ecto, then cutting whenever that time may be, will be much easier. Two years isn't that long at all to be training. It takes time which will require patience. Give it two more years and see where your hard work takes you.

I had the same problem. Keep the calories around 5000 but cut the fat intake a bit. Eat more protein, and hit the abs daily...they will soon come around. To get awesome results do the above with a cycle of Primo.

Bro, if you're not growing then eat more. Eat 4500 then up it to 5000. 4000 sounds as though it is going to be too low. You have to play around with your diet to see what works. Diet is the hardest part of the equation. Some people think it's unsolvable so they don't try. You have to plug in the numbers in terms of total calories coming form protein, carbs, and fat and see what exactly affects your body. If you have a nuclear plant metabolism then I would not worry about fat at all...Just eat to grow.
