I have a question. The doc thinks I partially tore my pectoral tendon. Has anyone had experience with this injury? How long does it take to recover from it and start lifting again... Thanks bros.

I don't know what a pectoal tendon is or where it's located, but if its the part that is in the middle of your chest that connects your pec to the center of your rib cage, then I've done that. 1.5 yrs ago. Well I feel ok now but it was a problem for more than a yr, and truth is I still haven't tried to do anything serious with it yet. I hope to this summer, I'm prayin it's ok and not permenant. Sorry I can't be of more help or encouragement, but at least ya know someone else has done it.

I had a tear in my pec tendon near my outer chest by the arm pit. It took me 13 months to get rid of it. 3 months of light weight, by 6 months I felt good but from time to time botherd it. Now it is ok.
