"D-bol is a heavy androgen, therefore you can expect to retain plenty of water".... "Just wait till you see fina's androgenticity make you hard as granite.".... What exactly does an androgen do? HOW do they affect our bodies? And how can the action of two highly androgenic drugs be so different. Mods I'm here to pick your brains, and that's what I'm doing.

Androgens are male sex hormones responsible for primary (at birth) and secondary sexual characteristics (facial hair, body hair, deepening of the voice, etc.). Testosterone is the primary androgen released by the testes in the body. Testosterone not only has an effect as an androgen, but is has an anabolic effect on bones and muscle. In various parts of the body, testosterone is converted by the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which then has its effect of an androgen on the body. DHT has many masculinizing effects on the body including, deeping of the voice, facial hair growth, male pattern baldness, acne, and it is thought that is exerts a psychological effect of aggression and hightened awareness somewhere in the brain. DHT also plays an important role in sexual desire. When using an AS that is said to be highly androgenic, what that means is that the AS either has a high affinity for DHT receptors, or has a high potential to turn into some form of DHT via the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme. An AS that is highly anabolic, either acts more like testosterone or is less likely to convert to a powerful form of DHT. Some scientists believe that testosterone itself has no action in the body, they believe that all of its effects occur through its metabolite, DHT. Whether this is true or not, changes what we know quite a bit, so I won't go into that any further. But if anyone has any info about that...it would be helpful. Hope this helps a little, if there are any mistakes please let me know. | ||

Dbol aromatizes (can be converted) to estrogen rather easily. Fina cannot. That is really where the difference lies. For example, try taking your d-bol with arimidex. Arimidex does not effect the androgenicity of a drug. It only inhibits the aromatase enzyme. You will retain very little water. |
