Is this correct? My ex girlfriend has asthma and the doctor prescribes her Albuterol. She says it makes her hyper as hell and makes her heart race. Since Clenbuterol is usually prescribed for asthma, I was thinking that maybe Albuterol is just a generic or brand name for Clen. Anyone know?

No. They are not the same. Albuterol=Salbutamol. I have a salbutamol inhaler and I don't notice anything when I take it.

Anabolicum is correct, but for slightly wrong reasons. Neither clenbuterol nor salbutemol have the same stimulant side effects when inhaled compared to ingested. But ingesting salbutemol does feel a lot like clen, but it doesn't have any thermogenic effect. Obviously, clen IS thermogenic and helps ya burn some fat.

i was talking about this when i first came to the board. i am sure that they are a bit diff, but when i first started working out, the man you brought be in to this world was MR. Midwest at the time (2 years ago) and he loved the Albuterol, and used it all the time. not sure why....i was only about 16 and really did not know much about the sport

True MS. That is why I mentioned the inhaler. It gives a metered dose of 100 micrograms. Take 100mcg's of oral clen at one sitting (please don't) and you will feel it!

I was wondering the same thing my girlfriend is proscribed to it to. she just read this post and said it does make her heart beat real fast and she does the inhaler. Im hoping it is the same as clembuterol cause she has like 100 bottles of this shit.

Big Stud that is what I'm talking about too! If it makes your heart beat faster wouldn't that increase your metabolism? Obviously I'm not going to rush out and start puffing on this shit, but there seems to be a little bit of a disagreement here. It has to be like Clen because they are both prescribed for asthma. Maybe Clen is just for people with worse asthma. Hrm.

Inhaled albuterol (Proventil, Ventolin) has a mild effect on the cardio vascular system. It has a large effect on the cardio respiratory system however; its a beta-2 blocker. It does not have any action on adipose tissue at all. Clenbuterol is ingested and acts on both the CV and CR systems. It has a great efffect on adipose tissue, for as long as your body takes to adjust itself to it. BTW Clenbuterol is superior to Albuterol for bronchodilation. It'll fix her asthma in a hurry. If she's jittery on Albuterol or Theophylling (ephedrine cousin) then Clen should sent her to Mars.
