I am getting ready to start my first cycle,I have been preparing myself for it since the middle of november.I have been dieting and doing alot cardio,Iv'e dropped my body fat from 20% to 9%,Ive lost alot of strength in the process and feel a bit overtrained.Should I take a week off now or just go ahead and jump right into it? ![]() ![]() ![]()

well ber on roids its not that easy to overtrain and that dose not mean that you do a lot of sets and reps see if i feel overtrained i might take a couple of days off but most of the times a week i would take a weeks off and get rest and if iam on a roids cycle i might not take a week off but lower the sets and take it easy for a week.later AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!!!! P.S.GAMEOVER!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

OK, I havn't the slightest idea what ultragainz is trying to say. Yes, definately take a week off. You will need it. I made this mistake before and ended up burnt out in the middle of a cycle. Your gains will be affected if you arn't fully rested and ready both physicaly and mentaly. Strict dieting puts a lot of strain on the body so you need a week (or even two) to recuperate and recharge. You can easily overtrain even while on AS. The more rested you are going in to the cycle the better your results will be. Don't over train...it is the worst thing you could do besides starving yourself if you want to make progress. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Beezers (edited January 19, 2001).] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
